The last day to redeem the Monopoly coupons and such is 5/30, but I noticed when entering codes this weekend that you need to enter the codes by 5/24. If you haven’t already done so, get moving! :)
Coupon Maven says
Thank you! I edited above. That’s worth noting!

there are also a handful of new store brand MyMixxes, good thru 5/29. all can be matched with sales.
on sale this and upcoming week (i.e. thru 5/30):
– $1.50 off SS beef franks, 16oz on sale for $3. and i thought $2.50 for the 15oz Oscar Mayers recently was good!
– $0.75 off SK hot dog buns, selling at $1.29. don’t need any yet, but at this price, maybe i’ll freeze one.
– $0.75 off any Signature Kitchens Condiments. 20oz ketchup is on sale for $1.50.
on sale thru 5/23:
– $2.00 off Signature Cafe Pork Half Slab of Ribs. current price of $6.
– $1 off any SS Ice Cream. the 1.5 quart is currently in a 3-day sale at $1.99, so this comes out to a ridiculous $0.99.
Coupon Maven says
Thank you! I will get these added. (They weren’t there when I posted early this morning!) What nice surprises :)
assassin says
you’re welcome. they are indeed impressive. making freezer space for the ice cream will prove a challenge, though.

unrelated:
“$3 Jack’s pizzas”
$1-off-2 Ibotta good thru end of 5/25.
assassin says
“$2.50 Dean’s ice cream”
also a $1.50 on Ibotta, good through end of 5/25, limit 2.

Squirt and such are included in the current 12-pack Dr. Pepper sale. do you think they’ll still be in the upcoming one? if not, i might want to buy 3 packs by tomorrow, with a Dr. Pepper MyMixx expiring 6/13. if anybody who pays attention to pop sales can opine, that’d be appreciated; i won’t hold you to any prediction. ;)
Coupon Maven says
It’s hard to say. I have the new ad, and it does not show Squirt in the photo for that Dr. Pepper sale, but it’s your call… :)

Not looking forward to the 82 cent tax on 2 Liters & the $1.44 tax per 12 pack on many beverages that starts in just over 5 weeks in Cook county.
It will be interesting to see if all the stores get the tax tables & programming in place by then on the proper products.
So time to stock up on a lot of beverages, or just shop outside of Cook county.

whoa, i might’ve heard mention of it being considered months ago, but didn’t know when it was coming, or the rate involved.
i blame the mainstream media for not thoroughly covering anything that isn’t uttered by a Trump or a Kardashian. and i blame ION Television and Heroes & Icons, my primary TV sources, for not flashing an emergency bulletin on the matter. it’s hard to determine exactly who’s at fault, other than knowing it’s certainly not me.
given 2-3 cents/fl oz are usual discounted rates for pop and sweet tea, this is a HUGE percentage tax. apparently flavored sugar water is the new cigarettes?
i’d stocked up on sweet tea and was about to do the same for pop, purely based on available deals. but now i might add even a little more. thanks for the heads up. this is bonkers. hard to see it lasting long.
sure you don’t mean 67- or 68- cent tax on 2 liters?

“$2.45 Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages”
the Fully Cooked: Sausage Links, Sausage Patties, and Sausage Crumbles have a $1 Ibotta, good thru 5/23.

Been waiting for Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce sales for a while so bought about a dozen…then saw your mention of coupons in this week’s inserts. The actual coupons are once again for the 28 oz. size of BBQ sauce. Can’t remember the last time they were for the 18 oz. bottles which are on sale for .77. Coupontom is wrong saying any size.
Coupon Maven says
Did you select “Chicago Tribune” before you searched CouponTom? If you don’t select the paper, it shows everything in the database. If you pick the Chicago Tribune first, it will show you coupons that are IN the Tribune in green, and it will show you coupons we did NOT get in red:
CouponTom is showing RED for the any-size BBQ sauce, but it is showing green for the one we did get: “$1:00 off Three Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce 28oz. or larger”
If you search without selecting a newspaper, you’re seeing ALL the coupons available around the country and not what’s specific to our area. Hope this helps! :)

If you’re reading this today on Tuesday the Signature ice cream is $1.99 and you can use the $1.00 coupon on Muy Mixx to get it for .99!

on the Wonderful pistachios, SmartSource.com is another option for both coupons.

Does anyone know if the $7.99 Vienna hot dogs deal is running at all stores until May 30? The Jewel on Wolf Road in Orland Park ran that sale 2 or 3 weeks ago, but I don’t see it in the sale paper this week. Jill also listed it as a deal last week, but I couldn’t find it at this Orland store last week either.
Coupon Maven says
It’s running through 5/30 IF your store still has some. I listed the end date based on in-store signage, not the ad — if your store still has them, it does run through next Tuesday. My own store ran out last week.

For the 4 day sale thru tomorrow, there is also a $1.25/1 Charmin coupon to load to MyMixx PLUS there is a Checkout 51 offer for $1 on those as well! I just submitted it and it came back “approved” within a few minutes. It is limit 1 offer on both of those, so if you have those valid as well the price is net $1.24 for 12 Giant rolls of Charmin Essentials! I don’t even need T.P. right now but could not pass up this deal on name brand stuff. The word “Giant” was what I was unsure about because I usually buy “double” or “big” rolls but it did work for this size. Hurry if you want some cheap Charmin!
SmartShopper says
I double checked MyMixx and I don’t have the $1.25/1 Charmin. I only have .25/1 on MyMixx. Darn. I too don’t need TP but at the price you paid, I’d get more!
Coupon Maven says
I looked and I don’t have it either! What a nice find. I wonder if it was one of those time-limited MyMixx offers that disappears after a day.
Calibabydolly says
I know, my husband and friend don’t have them on theirs as well. I think I just happen to browse the day it was offered by chance! I do see the other 25c/1 and they BOTH expire today! The $1.25/1 I had specifically said “Charmin Essentials” too. I also had the Signature Selects 75c/1 condiments loaded and found some jars of relish in clearance for 89c and that one came off too. I bought 8 jars and was planning on post redeeming 7 more cpns. but now that I read the coupon it says limit 1 PLUS “purchase must be $1.99 or more” wording on cpn itself. I hope they give me my money for those….and technically, my purchase total for that order was over $22! We will see what they do?
