For anyone who might buy the Hershey’s ice cream toppings this week: I bought some jars of hot fudge and caramel, and I got a Catalina at checkout for a free pint of Halo Top ice cream. Watch your Catalinas in case you get one too! The Hershey’s toppings were the only thing ice-cream-related that I purchased, so I’m guessing that was the trigger.

I bought Hershey’s hot fudge and caramel tonight, did not get a Catalina for Halo Top ice cream.
However, I’ve purchased other items at both Jewel and Meijer the past few weeks and received the Halo Top Catalina. At first I thought maybe it had something to do with entering a loyalty number. Sometimes I got the Catalina using MyMixx or mPerks, other times got one without entering any number. Very random.

I wrote a comment last week in the July 2017 Catalina post about the possibility of the $5 General Mills Catalina working at Meijer starting Sunday. Worked like a charm tonight.
Purchased 8 boxes of General Mills cereals (6 Very Berry Cheerios and 2 Toast Crunch) at $2.79 each. $1 came off on each for the Buy 5 Save $5 offer, and used eight $1.00/1 coupons. Total for cereal was $6.32
Also purchased two Hershey toppings in the same transaction at $1.99 each. $1 came off on each for the Buy 5 Save $5 offer, and used one $1.00/2 coupon. Total for toppings was $.98
Got a $5.00 OYNO Catalina for the eight cereals purchased.
$6.32 minus $5.00 = $1.32, or net cost of 16.5c for each box of cereal.
