My local Walgreens mentioned this week that we can now USE Balance Rewards in the same transaction that we are EARNING Balance Rewards. In the past, that wasn’t the case. Have you found this to be true? I’m hesitant to try without knowing for sure.

I have not heard that, but Walgreens doesn’t do any kind of blogger outreach on changes to their policies, so it is possible that it could work. I too have not tried it (got burned once doing that very thing when Balance Rewards first came out) but I will see what I can find out.
