New $39 "Value Your Heart" coupon book at Jewel
Keep your eyes open for these new $39 Value Your Heart coupon books at Jewel! They're free and can be found in a large, stand-up cardboard display in the store (I found it near the produce/cereal area.)

This is a NICE book! Right away, these things jump out at me - Fresh Express salads often go on sale for $1, so they'll be free with coupon. The $1-off-2 12-pack Diet Coke would be great to work into the current CVS $25/$10 deal this week ... and I always like high-value coupons for 100% juices. :)
Jewel in Addison
The Jewel in Addison had these in front of the service desk behind the ads. The Jewel in Wood Dale didn't have them.
No more urban legand!
I finally found them! My closest Jewel in Wauconda must have just put the display out because it was quite full, in the produce section. The Jewel in Fox Lake where I got my freezer had them by pharmacy and it was almost empty. YEAH!!! lol...

had them this last week - I grabbed a handful (there were TONS on the display), mostly because I still like diet coke and I KNOW there are some good Qs for next week's dom's sale...
hear that? I may brave a trip to DOM'S for diet coke! UGH I really am an addict LOL
now, if there had been any coupons left on the coors beer display, then I would have been super happpy! oh well :o)

I received a flyer in the mail today, telling me to "pick one up in store today."

Considering they expire this month, that's plenty - my rule of thumb is to only take what you'll actually use. Of course, many of them will be good at Dominick's later too.

Urban Legend
This is cracking me up... I have been to 3 different Jewels and talked to manager at one and clerks in produce in the other and all knew nothing about this. It cracks me up... maybe they haven't gotten them yet who knows... I will keep checking around and check at a couple others. If you all find them can you post location please. Thanks so much! Tons available Wednesday night at the LaGrange Park Jewel. Two displays, one by the pharmacy and one back by the dairy department across from the milk coolers.

Found them last night in Woodstock (my coupon class was held at the Golden Eagle Bank, which is in the PARKING LOT of the Jewel. Do you think I could have resisted going to Jewel after class as it was within walking distance of my car??

Field Trip
Jill, I think the next time you do a class with a location like that you need to have a field trip. Can you imagine a whole group of super couponers walking into Jewel with the Coupon Queen taking the lead. I think the employees might go running.

Um... a bunch of people from class did ask in the parking lot, "Jill, are you going to Jewel?"
At which point I motioned toward the store (in the very near distance) and said "What do you think?" :)

I am sorry I missed
That is so funny. I am so sorry I missed it. I think I am going to mapquest all your classes and sign up for the ones that have a Jewel near by. I think you need to put that in when you list the class (field trip scheduled). You know there would be so many at that class as if there isn't already.

I had been to several Jewels several times and called many others all had no clue to what coupon book I was looking for (Northern Suburbs).
I stopped last night to get the Oatmeal deal....figured oh well, we go through a ton of Oatmeal and it's cheap even w/out coupons....did not even look for the book this time, I'd given it up as an "urban legend" =-) at this point....and as I was wheeling past the pharmacy....there it was,I was not even looking for it.
I heard "angels singing" and I bought 10 42oz containers of Oatmeal for $3.90 - totally made my night.....!
I can't wait to hear the angels :-)
