will a coupon for “Simply Lemonade® or Simply Juice Drinks®” work on Simply Orange? the three seem to be separate categories:

Coupon Maven says
You know, I didn’t think that deeply — I thought “Simply Orange” juice IS juice…! Now I am wondering.
assassin says
hmm, there is a 75-cent Ibotta on the 59 fl oz Simply Orange, good for another 24 hours.
SSMark1 says
MyMixx has a nice $2.00 off a Rotisserie Chicken offer.
That’s a nice deal.
Not sure if it works on the cold discounted chickens found in the deli area.

@SSMark1: yup, goes nicely with the $6.99 sale starting tomorrow.
@Coupon Maven: re Merci: also SmartSource.com printable, for those who don’t get inserts.

a few other nice store-brand coupons (all good thru 5/14) with accompanying sales are: $1 off 64+ oz. juice (apple juice/cider 64oz on sale for $2), $1 off meatballs ($4.99 sale for 20-24 oz), $1 off ice cream (the 1.5 quart is advertised for $3 this week). all eight MyMixxes look good, but i haven’t checked sale prices on the others.

per the ad’s last page, two flavors of Odwalla smoothies are going to be the Saturday Morning Sampler. not 100% certain it’s an outright freebie versus a B1G1F, based on the curious wording — but maybe they just did that to supplement the “2/$4” sale price.

I have a question. I did the Febreze deal today and I did exactly like you wrote. I bought 3 Febreze Gain car fresheners and 3 Febreze Hawaiian car fresheners.. I used the $3.00 coupon on the Gain ones and I used three BOGO coupons on the 3 Hawaiian fresheners. The deal worked just like you said and after the coupons and the $5 savings for buying $15 was $1.87. But then I got charged $1.03 in tax! That did not make my car fresheners deal as good as I thought it should be because that was $2.90 in total. That doesn’t seem right to me. Can you please include the tax with your deals in the future so I will know what things will really cost.
grandma says
Amelia, adding tax to the deals would be impossible for Jill to do.. Taxes vary in different towns and areas as there are
city & local taxes that are not the same state wide.
We all have to figure out our own taxes as to the area
we are shopping in.
Coupon Maven says
Yes, it would be impossible for me to figure tax into these writeups because I have no idea where you live and what your tax bracket might be — taxes can range from 7-10% in different Chicagoland suburbs depending on where you’re shopping. Tax is always figured on a pre-coupon total, so it’s being figured on the $19.74 sales price for the six car clips.
For what it’s worth, remember that those car clips are $3.29 EACH in the store right now, and you bought six of them for $2.90 with tax. That’s less than one clip would cost at retail, without tax. You’re under .50 per clip, which I still think is a great price if you like these.

Or 6.25% tax down here in Kankakee! (and I still complain about it) My friend and I drove around up north to various Walgreen’s deal hunting a few weeks ago and we were in shock how much tax was, especially in Cook Co! Yes, it’s always a shock when you get “freebies” and notice the tax part but coupons are actually A FORM OF PAYMENT, like cash is. I just paid 62 cents tax for my better than free Colgate toothpastes but it’s still an awesome deal!

My Checkout 51 offer for French’s ketchup is down to $1.00 on their new list that came out today. Was nice to get free ketchup at Walmart and Jewel the past few weeks, but not free any more.
feelgood says
Red Gold ketchup is a better deal this week. The 32 oz bottles are $2.49 each, and advertised as BOGO in this week’s Jewel ad. So $1.25 each when you buy two. And cheaper ounce-for-ounce than the French’s, even after the $1.00 Checkout 51 offer.

For the $7.99 Vienna hot dogs + free buns and Pepsi deal, check your Jewel to see if they have a lower price and/or store coupons attached to the hot dogs.
At the Homer Glen Jewel earlier this week, there were about 50 packages of the 32 oz Vienna Cubs hot dogs in a coffin with a sale sign for $5.00, and $1.00 store coupons attached to each package. These sold out the same day, and they now have the $7.99 price with no coupons attached.
Yesterday, the Lemont Jewel had about 200 of these in 2 spots, sale sign of $7.99 each and with $2.00 store coupons attached to each package.

I picked up all 3 Mymixx offers today and they all came off just fine. The Odwalla drinks were in the produce section NOT in the fridge section but with the other veggies by the strawberries etc. There are 2 to pick from and my husband got the snickerdoodle and I picked the mocha and both work as 1 free! The bars and waters are up front by registers. (I think you have to get the lemon/cuke flavor but did not try another kind because they are crazy busy today) There are all 4 flavors of RX bars to chose from as well. My husband got the black one and I got the green one and both worked!
Also, in the buy 4 save 50c each, the Eight O’clock relax and alert 10 oz. bags are included and there is a $1.50/1 Mymixx that applied correctly at register. PLUS as of today, there is still a $1.50/1 either kind on Checkout 51, so after the deal applies you will be paying only $1.49 for the bag! I also found some Monopoly cpns for 50c off the Pepperidge Farms goldfish and $1 off Simply potatoes making that a sweet deal too. If you’d like more of the coffee ones, there is another $2.50/2 bags on Mymixx but I think you need to get either Relax or Alert to qualify for the Checkout 51 offer? I think any bags 10-12 oz. will work on the cpn though. If you need an extra item or two to get to the buy 4 deal, eggs are included for only 99c/18 cartons as well. Some pretty nice deals today!!!

“Blue Bunny Snacks (6-8ct. ice cream bites) are $3.50. Use this $1 printable and pay $2.50.”
there’s also a 50-cent Ibotta, good for another 2 days. however, it’s curiously limited to the 2.5 fl oz size, which means just the pictured Salted Caramel Pretzel. why they designated this in terms of single-item size instead of flavor (or even whole bag size), i do not know. but $1.75 final price is very good.
anyone but assassin says
err, typo; seventy five cents on the Ibotta.
(random words to stop software from rejecting post a sixth time. lalala i’ll just keep typing.)
assassin says
$0.75, pardon.
