Saturday Morning Samplers, i hardly remember ye! ;)
any idea how the Core Power coupon will combine with the current B2G2F store sale? SMSs are in a weird category. they itemize as store coupons, but you can’t use cents-off manufacturers’ coupons with them, which contradicts Jewel policy and implies the freebies have manufacturer involvement. so if the couponed core power _doesn’t_ count as a “purchased” item in a B2G2F quartet, that’d imply it’s *simultaneously* a *store* offer. a bit maddening when one thinks about it, but i’ll try not to get too worked up over a free item. ;)

As we checked out yesterday morning with one of the head cashiers, I made that exact comment…..that if you buy another bottle, you would get 2 FREE. So, pay for one and get 4 bottles for $3.49! She acted like she had no idea how that would go down? You and I cannot be the ONLY customers eyeing that possible scenario??? In the end, I decided to just get the FREEBIE and forget it, since I had not ever tried the Core Power coffee drink yet. Anyone like them? At 87c a bottle, it may be a good deal. (I was searching for an ibotta offer to sweeten the deal, but I guess it wasn’t there or in fact expired)

indeed it works! in case it matters, i scanned Coffee first, Strawberry Banana second, and my other two were Vanilla and Chocolate (i forget their order).
yes, verifying this a bit late, but hopefully our prior posts were enough to get other people to experiment on their own. :P
i’ve had at least 2-3 flavors of Core Power in the past (yet to try my Coffee bought a few months ago), and they’re definitely good. the Core Power Elite, which has higher protein and trades sugar for alternative sweeteners, isn’t as tasty. and the analogous Muscle Milk Pro, which lacks both sugar AND milk, is likewise no treat. but when Walmart bafflingly had the Vanilla on a long-running discount for $0.50 (compared to ~$4 for Chocolate of the same line!), i couldn’t resist buying; the cents per gram of protein were insane. (i’ve yet to try normal Muscle Milk, but bought some Muscle Milk Smoothies, which are yogurt-based, in Summer, and expect them to be more enjoyable.)
