My syndicated Super-Couponing Tips column for the week is entitled “Coupon design creates confusion.”
Here’s an excerpt:
“A snack food brand had two coupons on one page side by side. One was $1 off two boxes of the product, and the other was $1.50 off one box. Now what was interesting to me is that the coupons overlapped each other, and both coupons shared the fine print on the coupon. The page said ‘Please clip out only ONE coupon. Legal copy must be included.”
