My syndicated Super-Couponing Tips column for the week is entitled “Readers question ambiguous coupon wording.”
Here’s an excerpt:
“I got a coupon in the paper for ‘[Brand Name] Cosmetics Lip or Eye product.’ Now, I think this coupon means that I can use it on any cosmetics product, not only lip or eye, because it says ‘cosmetics, lip or eye.’ What do you think?””

You once had a list of coupon wording meaning in – I kept it in my coupon box& lost it could you email it to me it seems that many of the store checkers don’t know the meaning or understand some after you explain one per purchase verses one per transaction get it then some don’t & it helps to have it writing . Then I can print it I’ve been complaining since middle 80’s . Thank you. Cheryl Griffith/ Illinois
