it’s “for any variety, 16.9 oz. size” — though the plastic shelf-stable bottle is pictured — and good through June 20, 2017 2:00 AM. this is in honor of National Coconut Day on June 17th! i’m already liking it more than most obnoxious mainstream holidays. but it’d be nice if it were closer to International Talk Like A Pirate Day, as a coconut tree could be the first thing the pirates comment about after landing on an island. (“Oh my, what a glorious plant! It will provide sustenance for many.” — i paraphrase, possibly.)
i wonder whether it’d work on the chilled carton, as that’s the type depicted for Jewel-Osco’s upcoming Saturday Morning Sampler (see last page of ad). but i’ll probably just get two separate (essentially) free ones, as i like the things.June 16, 2017 at 9:31 pm #72616
Nice find! Did you also see the $3.50 ibotta offer on the 500 ml Zico chilled coconut water and juice blends? That is the one pictured in the ad, but I bet the freebie will be the non chilled plastic bottle. Both are the same size, just 1 is listed in ml and the other ounces. I have a Catalina coupon for $1.50 off ANY Zico coconut water and the sale price is $2 for the one in the produce section….I think the shelf stable bottle is cheaper, isn’t it? I actually like it too, so I am getting BOTH and am looking forward to a MM on an item I really want!June 17, 2017 at 7:59 am #72617
3 freebies this morning! And the zico is a $3.50 MM on ibotta!!!June 17, 2017 at 9:12 am #72618
yup, thanks for pointing out that rebate; i somehow missed it. the shelf stable ones are on sale for $2 as well, so a 50-cent moneymaker there.
“I think the shelf stable bottle is cheaper, isn’t it?”
it’d make sense, given refrigeration costs money. per the shelf tags, SS is $2.99 regular, while chilled is $3.99 regular (yet says $2.99 on receipt; odd).
the local Walmart has (regular?) price of $1.98 on SS, and $1.96 on chilled.
so they’re basically the same.June 17, 2017 at 3:59 pm #72622
I got a bottle of each Zico to try this morning and the ones that are free in MyMixx are not sweetened and NOT blended with other juices or flavors! My husband won’t drink it, he says it’s awful, lol….but I will because I knew going in the shelf stable ones are enhanced. I really like the pineapple flavor one. Coconut water on a hot humid day like today really quenches your thirst and I feel like I am drinking it right from the coconut like they do on Survivor! :>)June 19, 2017 at 2:15 am #72630
My Walmart didn’t have the 16.9 oz shelf stable ZICO.
But that’s ok, Meijer has them on sale 3 for $5 ($1.67 each), AND there’s a BOGO to clip on mPerks.
So 2 free bottles and an $.83 moneymaker after the $2.50 Ibotta.
