A heads up, the $2.50 off O Organics Ground Beef coupon in the September book says “Minimum purchase $5.00 required”.

Arrgh – I totally missed that. I edited above – thanks.

I never linked my SavingStar account to my MyMixx account and finally tried to link the two accounts last week. Jewel Osco appeared in the “Receipt Upload” stores list and not in the “Automatic Savings Stores” list on the SavingStar site. I contacted SavingStar, and they replied that as of August 25, Jewel Osco became a “receipt upload” store. I don’t know what that means for linking the two accounts electronically.

That means that you have to scan in your receipt in order to redeem Savingstar at Jewel. It is like Target and Walgreens have been. It no longer automatically gives the rebate.
On a different note, I have found O Organics whole chickens marked down to $.99/lb and have been able to pick up some cheap chickens with the $2.50/1 coupon. Keep your eyes open.

This morning Jewel had the $2.50 coupons photocopied and clipped in a basket right next to the O Organics beef. My husband and I both were going to get a pound each in separate orders and the cashier told us they are not enforcing the rules on the coupons! He said he bought 9 himself yesterday and could ring them up together no problem. I also just got one lime for 34c and the total was $3.35 total and no issues scanning! It does say “while supplies last” so I’d run to Jewel if you want some!

I was at the Naperville Jewel and got 4 packages of the O Organics ground beef. There was plenty of packages available Saturday afternoon when I shopped that store. They had the photocopied $2.50/1 coupons sitting on top of the ground beef packages and also had more coupons in a small bin inside the cooler case. I did not have any problems with purchasing 4 packages at once. The register did not beep and all coupons went through fine. What a fantastic price for organic ground beef!
*NOTE: the Ground Beef patties are more expensive than the one pound square package of ground beef. I did not know this as it was not marked in the cooler (the different prices).

My store put up a limit 4 sign today on the cheap ground beef and they also must have run out of Jewel eggs because the Lucerne dozen eggs were priced 99c, so I was able to use that coupon in Big Book to get 1 totally FREE! That one is actually limit one! Watch your stores for those too!

there’s a $1 MyMixx on Muscle Milk bars, good thru 10/31. the local store has them on sale for $1.50 (regular price is like $1.99) thru 9/19.
there’s also a HV “$2.00 Off on ONE (1) Milton’s Craft Bakers GLUTEN FREE Chips” MyMixx, good thru 9/27. no sale advertised, and i dunno whether there are localized ones, as i haven’t been in a store that carries them recently, but with a regular price around $3, the coupon alone makes it a solid deal.
as for advertised sales, 2-pack Chobani Smooths are $1. the ad says thru 9/19, but most local stores indicate 9/24. a number of these boxes still have $0.35 coupons stuck to the front, though it varies day to day. 11g protein in a 5.3oz cup for $0.50 is already a good price; the coupon just sweetens the deal (and that’s nearly all the sweetening going on, because Chobani Smooth has 25% less sugar than leading traditional yogurts :P).

Ibotta has a $.75 rebate on the free jewel noosa through tomorrowjennifee

Ibotta also has $1.25 back on Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt. On sale for $1 right now at Jewel plus there is 50c back on these on Checkout 51 as well. So with a double dip you have a nice MM!
My Jewel is sold out of the ground beef as of this morning, though they did still have 99c Lucerne eggs!
Today only Facebook word of day: “Know Better Hommus” get 1 free any flavor hommus, worth $3.99!
So a nice little trip to Jewel again today!!!

The weekly ad shows Hormel teeny natural snacks with the cheese bits, chunks of meat plus a sweet tidbit for 2/$6 which is a typo. I saw them for 2/$3 and I knew it was wrong in ad since the regular price for those is $1.99. There is a MyMixx coupon plus a coupons.com one for $1/1, makes them barely worth it at 50c each in my opinion! I would never pay $3. You can sometimes find them with $1 off store stickers on them and FREE is a nice price for a decent snack!
