12-packs of 12-ounce Ice Mountain water bottles are on sale 3-for-$5
Buy three 12-packs and get a $2.25 Catalina.
Use three .75 Ice Mountain coupons from the 8/23 RP and/or 6/28 RP coupon inserts from the paper.
After coupons, pay $2.75 and get a $2.25 Catalina! That’s .50 for THREE 12-packs, or about .17 each!
This deal runs through 9/6, the last day the Catalina will print.
(Most of the participating 12-packs have an orange label — note the difference in the photo above.)
This Catalina offer rolls, which means you can take the Catalina you got from one round of buying 3 waters and go buy 3 more in another transaction — using the Catalina from the first transaction to pay for the second. Then, you’ll get another Catalina. (Note that buying 6 waters will NOT generate two Catalinas — you must break these into transactions of three waters each.

When the Catalina on the 12-oz. packs ends, the next day a Catalina on the 8oz. and 700ml ones begins! These are, by far, the better deal though…

It’s definitely working — I’ve done it four times so far and am getting plenty of email about it. The Catalina alerts are out for Jewel participating. The reasons Catalinas might not print: Machine’s out of paper or ink, machine is disconnected, machine is jammed. I did this deal 3x today the first I got the $2.25 cat the second time I rolled my $2.25cat and only got a $1.50 cat and the 3rd time I got a $2.25 cat again not sure why.

It sounds to me like one of your 12-packs did not get scanned (or possibly, you bought a 12-pack of Ice Mountain that was a different size bottle, not the 12-ounce.) If you buy two, you get a $1.50 Catalina — it sounds to me like for whatever reason, the scanner only registered two participating items:

8/10/15 – 9/6/15
Buy 2 and get a $1.50 Catalina
Buy three and get a $2.25 Catalina

If you were expecting a Catalina and it did not print, use this form to contact Catalina: https://support.catalinamarketing.com/
They can mail it to you. Occasionally there is a glitch and they don’t print. Keep your store receipt, as you’ll need some info from it to fill out the form.

Worked like a charm at Crystal Lake early this morning so I split up the order doing it four times. I let cashier know I was splitting it up and she wasn’t sure why and then was impressed and said “hey just like the good old days” (she remembers the days of shelf vs. sale prices with $15 Cats flowing).
day earlier noticed shelves cleared of this size but Crystal Lake is a larger store and they had it stacked up on floor display mixed in with various other sizes. Mine had the orange labeling on the packaging.
Now if I can get a special order come in on the Dazani water I’ve been waiting on for a couple of weeks….I have so many problems with special orders from Jewel that I have to do it several times before I actually get an order. Last year a manager had to bring me the Kosher Coke cause they didn’t ship it to no other stores than Huntley so I will probably go there Spring of 2016….so keep us posted.

Jill, I thought the Catalina goes through Sunday, September 6th? I just bought 3 at Jewel and the Catalina did not print. Customer service said the Catalina deal ended yesterday.

It’s definitely supposed to – the alert I’ve seen says 9/6! I would keep your receipt and contact Catalina. This is the first I’ve heard of it possibly ending early.

Thanks for responding back, Jill. I did contact Catalina and they responded within minutes. They are mailing me a Catalina I should have gotten at checkout. It should arrive within 10 days. Unfortunately the service desk was not at all helpful at Jewel. I am glad you can contact Catalina directly to get these things resolved.

Hi Jill- Our Jewel STILL has the Ice Mountain 12 oz. bottles (12 packs) on sale for 3/$5. My friend got a rain check back in August because we thought the price was going up and our shelves were always cleared back when that Catalina was printing. Well, she went this morning and used the newer 75c coupon but they only had 2 on the shelf and she STILL got a Catalina back. It was only for $1.50 for buying 2 but we were wondering if a new Catalina is printing or is this the same one that never ended? Do you have any alerts or dates on a Cat for Ice Mountain? Anything I can find shows it was to end in Sept. If it’s still printing and you use 75c/1 coupons, its still only 17c each after the deal! Thanks if you know.
