Here’s a tip that I don’t think I’ve blogged about before. At least here in Illinois, Target clearance merchandise often ends up at the local Goodwill stores after it has reached the 75% off clearance point and still didn’t sell at Target. The Huntley Goodwill Store has a large display of brand-new Mossimo bikinis, tags still on them, all marked $3.99 each. A sign on the display notes that each bikini piece is Buy One Get One Free, so you can get both top and bottoms for that price.
But today, June 23rd, the Huntley Goodwill location is also having a 50% off all clothing sale! That drops the price of a bikini top or bottom to just $1.99… and you get the second piece FREE too!
Goodwill’s always fun to bargain-hunt at, but when you can score brand-new merchandise at a fraction of what it originally sold for? We couldn’t walk into Target and buy a Mossimo bikini for under $2.00!
And, yes, my son DID find some tropical/Hawaiian shirts today too!

I am a BIG resale shopper, but I’m on ‘probation’ right now-we already have too much stuff, so purging is the order of the day. :( I SOOOOO cannot resist prices like that-I’m almost sorry that I checked the blog right now-must………resist………the……..temptation……….!! LOL!

A high end resale boutique in my area donates all merchandise that hasn’t sold within 30 days to Goodwill, bet a lot of others do too. More people should take advantage of resale shop prices. They are very picky about quality so most items are new or in like new condition. Merchandise is usually nicely sized and sorted for your convenience.

Donate the merchandise that doesn’t sell in their stores to the goodwill store.
