Went to Old Navy yesterday and got a bunch of flip flops (limit 5) for a $1. They didn’t have that many colors left and the line wrapped around the store (but it went fast!) Thanks for posting ahead.

First, thanks to Jill for posting about the $1 sale. We were in need of flip flops, and were pleasantly surprised to find the sizes we needed even though we went later in the day. : )
Since it was so warm, we all cut the tags off and started wearing them right away. However, several stores and errands afterwards, we were kind of singing our own version of that Meow Mix commercial (HATE that new song!) with Ow, ow, ow, ow, Ow, ow, ow, ow! every time we walked about. It was bad enough that I went back to wearing my mules on the drive back home.
I know some people tie fabric strips around the strap parts that go over your foot, but I thought that was more for decoration and embellishment. Is there anything that people can recommend so that the part that goes between our toes hurts less? I’ll admit, I’m feeling a little wimpy here. : ( Thanks in advance for any useful tips!
