UPDATE: I have reached out to P&G and confirmed that the 10-ounce Tide is not a trial or travel size. The Tide coupons currently available in the Brandsaver insert and online are valid on this size.
3/16/14 UPDATE: A reader noted that today, the $1 off Tide coupons are printing with the restriction that they be used on 25oz. or larger Tides. If you printed this coupon before the coupon changed, you can use it on the 10oz. Tides. Do not use a coupon for 25oz. Tide on a smaller size.
Remember those cute 10-ounce bottles of Tide that showed up in stores recently? Readers have been reporting that the price has dropped to .99 at many Jewel-Osco locations. I just came back from my store in Huntley, and they’re indeed just .99 each!
Use any of the $1 printables above and get them free! You can print each of those twice. And, if you want more, use the $1.50-off-2 to grab two more for .49 – less than a quarter each! The $2-off-3 from the 3/2 PG will drop these to .33 each too. (Note that these are not travel-sized bottles as they are 10 ounces — travel Tides come in a one-load packet in the travel aisle.)
Want more? You can print more $1 coupons at P&G’s website! These are limited to one print each.

I even used those other Qs from PG insert making them $0.50. So between all of my Qs the average price ended up being $0.26 per bottle, or the equivalent to 50oz bottle for $1.30. Good price or me, since my DH always get mad if I buy anything else. He only likes Tide.

Are these okay with High Efficiency Washers? I know I picked up some cheap detergent at CVS once, but it wasn’t HE compatible.

I bought a bunch yesterday and went back today to find they are even lower! This time they owed me money so bought some of the fiora paper towel and toilet paper. What a bargain – – even without the coupons!

UPDATE 3/14, 2:40PM: I have reached out to P&G and confirmed that the 10-ounce Tide is not a trial or travel size. The Tide coupons currently available in the Brandsaver insert and online are valid on this size.
UPDATE: Tide posted on Facebook today that the 10-ounce bottles are considered “Trial Size.” I have never seen anything trial/travel size that exceeds three ounces, the maximum you can travel with. Single-load Tide packets are also sold in the travel aisle, while these bottles are sold in the laundry aisle. I truly had no idea that the 10-ounce bottles were considered trial/travel size, and I would guess most consumers didn’t either. I’m striking the text of this post below, but I will leave links to the coupons up for people who’d like to print and use them on larger sized bottles.hwendt12 says
I have q’s for about 15 that expire on 4/9 or 4/10 and would like to use them up. (I am in Northern McHenry county and have been to CL, McH, WDS, Spring Grove, Fox Lake with no luck) :(
