  1. In addition to looking for the red markdown signs, I always check their clearance bin for bargains. A couple weeks ago I found one of our favorite holiday items marked down from $2.99 to $1.49. But it seems to be store-by-store, as Friday I found more of them at my local store marked $2.89 (not much of a bargain, unless you compare them to the IDENTICAL product at World market that were originally $5.99)

    Another $3.99 item was $.99 but it’s one of the few German pastry items we don’t like.
