After numerous requests, I’ve added a Catalina Alert area to the blog Forums. What’s a Catalina Alert? It a piece of paper that prints from the Catalina machine notifying you of an upcoming money-back sale on a certain item. These alerts are not published in a store’s weekly flier — the only way to find out about them is to be lucky enough to receive an alert at the register.
So… with a place to post and share them with each other, we can all take part in many of these promotions! Note that the appearance of an alert does not necessarily make an item a good sale — but waiting for the items included in the alert to drop in price, AND buy them with coupons while the money-back promo outlined in the alert is active can often make many of these fantastic deals. Please feel free to post any Catalina alerts you may receive as well. If you would like to email scans or images of them to me at jill@supercouponing.com, I’d be happy to post them in the Alert area for you too.

This Catalina says that you can receive register reward of $2 if you buy 4 items, $6 for 6 items & $10 for 8 items or more. Of course it says it’s for participating Unilever products, but, doesn’t list what they are. I would like to try it for shampoos & soaps, as I have coupons too, but, I don’t know what items they are, & find the managers are not friendly when I do returns, so, am not keen on trying this! I guess anyone who would like to try it, could make a really great deal out of it, if your not intimidated by returning items if it doesn’t work. Otherwise, the coupons alone don’t make this any special deal, unless these items are all on sale.
