Hello, Super-Couponers! After a wonderful weekend road-trip with my family, I returned to see that this blog EXPLODED while I was away.
I have had varied reactions to what’s happened with the current Jewel sale. People who are new to couponing could likely not possibly fathom the insanity that these deals bring out in deal-hunters and shoppers.

Seriously! My inner KISS fan is very excited that KISS’s first new album in 11 years, “Sonic Boom,” is out today at Wal-Mart… and my inner bargain hunter LOVES that it is a 3-disc set for just $12! Along with that promo, Wal-Mart also has $5 KISS t-shirts, cheap Halloween KISS gear and many other wonderful promo tie-ins. If you’re a fan of the hottest band in the land… get yourself to Wal-Mart today.
If you shop at Jewel, you might be aware of their Preferred Card Update promotions. These promotions travel to new Jewel locations periodically, setting up a blue tent at the store. If you go to the tent and update your Jewel Preferred Card info (name, address, etc. – basically, keeping your contact info current) you get a free coupon book with over $100 worth of coupons in it!
The book itself is great, but what makes it even sweeter are the coupons for FREE items inside:
1 FREE Culinary Circle pizza
1 FREE half-gallon Wild Harvest organic milk
1 FREE 3lb. bag of apples
