Bargain Dove Men+Care bar soap all around town!

Did you see that nice $4 coupon for a 6-pack of Dove Men+Care bar soap in the 1/27 RP1 insert? It’s a good deal all around town with that high-value coupon…

Reader Allintime notes that the best deal this week is at CVS/pharmacy. Dove Men+Care 6-bar packs are on sale for $6.50 each AND are part of a “Spend $15, Get $5 in ExtraBucks” sale through 2/2. If you have three coupons, you can do a very nice deal! As the coupons are limit 2 per transaction, you can buy two with two coupons and pay $5. Then, buy one more 6-pack. With another $4 coupon, pay $2.50 and get $5 back in ExtraBucks. That’s $2.50 for THREE 6-packs, or about .83 per package = about .14 per bar!

If you don’t have that many coupons, the 6-packs of Dove Men+Care bar soap are also on sale at Jewel through February 20th for $5.99. With the $4 coupon, pay $1.99 = about .33 per bar. Also, look for packs with a free travel-sized bottle of Dove body wash attached. (They’re also part of a “Spend $15, Get $5” Catalina at Jewel right now too, but the Catalina is AFTER coupons, and you wouldn’t be able to use three coupons in the same transaction anyway.)

When I was out price-checking today too, I saw that these 6-packs are $6.88 at Walmart. (What’s that about Walmart “always being cheaper?” Oh yeah… they’re not. :) But if Walmart is your store, pay $2.88 = .48 per bar.

UPDATE: Reader Ekpachla spotted the 6-bar packs with the free body wash attached on clearance at Target for $4.84. With the $4 coupon, they’re just .84, or again… .14 per bar!

UPDATE #2: Reader SusieQ2 notes that these Dove 6-packs are $6.79 starting 1/31 in the new Meijer ad, and they’re also part of a “Buy $15, Save $5” instant-savings deal. The best deal is to buy two Dove 6-packs and one Suave deodorant priced at $1.66 (total: $15.24.) The price drops to $10.24 with the instant savings. Use two $4 Dove coupons and one .75 deodorant coupon from the 1/27 RP1. Pay $1.49 for EVERYTHING, or about .50 per item!
