Note: With the Gillette razor scenario, your coupons will beep for cashier intervention. Note that Jewel’s Coupon Policy allows one manufacturer coupon per item, and it allows you to use a cents-off or dollars-off coupon on the first item in conjunction with a Buy/Get Free coupon. Both of these are noted in the policy here:
- – A cents off coupon may be used with a B1G1Free coupon, redeemable on the purchased item
- – One Manufacturer coupon and one Store coupon may be redeemed per item
If you’re having issues understanding or explaining this deal, see the following:
Explanation of Gillette razor deal:
Buy Gillette razor #1 and use a $3 coupon on it
Buy Gillette razor #2 and use a $3 coupon on it
Buy Gillette razor #3 and use a “Buy 2 Get 1 FREE” coupon on it
Buy Gillette razor #4 and use a $3 coupon on it
Buy Gillette razor #5 and use a $3 coupon on it
Buy Gillette razor #6 and use a “Buy 2 Get 1 FREE” coupon on it
Again, this is outlined according to Jewel’s coupon policy, which allows you to use a manufacturer coupon on each item and also allows you to redeem a coupon on the first item you’re purchasing as part of the B2G1F.

I had to go pick my daughter up at work, so as long as I was out in this weather I (*surprise!*) went to Jewel.
The Catalina rolls just fine – I did two P&G deals back to back. Here’s my second receipt:
My store had no issues whatsoever ringing the $3 coupons and B2G1F.
One thing to watch too… the tax! Tax on this .92 transaction is a whopping $2.93, bringing this to $3.85 after all coupons/Catalina.

Initially the cashier had a problem with using three $3 off one pkg of mens razors and then two B2G1F. Manager at service desk came over and said I could indeed use them. So she processed my order and took the $6.98 off twice along with the other coupons.
Then I did the deal again and purchase six more pkgs of ladies razors and paid $6.98 each. However, when it came time to process the $6.98 (B2G1F) only one $6.98o came off and the other was $2.33o. On the receipt they had these little “o” behind them.
They said well the mfg adjusted it that why the “o” behind the amounts. “Must have been what you paid for one of them”. Well they were all the same Daisy razor. Had to get to work but noted that wasn’t the case.
Obviously I will go back and ask another service manager about the $4.65 difference I was shorted on the coupon (I have another one on hand to show them).
Has anyone else have this weird scenario with a coupon.
