Have you tried Carando® Abruzzese Fresh Italian Style Meatballs? You’ll find them in the meat case at Jewel-Osco, and even if you’re a from-scratch cook, you may love these. Carando meatballs give you a head-start on your homemade Italian meals. They’re made with classic Italian ingredients, just as you’d make at home, but you’ll also valuable meal preparation time on busy evenings.
My husband and I enjoy cooking together, and we do cook the majority of our family’s meals at home. My husband is Italian, and he truly appreciates both the process of cooking from scratch, as well as the richer, more robust flavors enjoyed when you tweak a recipe by adding a dash of seasoning or an additional pinch of spices. He’s very picky about meatballs. When we have time to make large batches from scratch, we do — but between our schedules and our children’s, we don’t always have that luxury.
As my husband and I follow a ketogenic diet, we also make a lot of meat-centric meals at home. Here’s one of my favorite go-to recipes for busy nights that is rich with all of the flavors of our favorite Italian dishes, minus the pasta (and carbs!)
I bought my Carando meatballs at Jewel-Osco, and I found them in the fresh meats display. I continue to be impressed by the variety of products that Jewel carries, and I love trying products that are new or new-to-me! Jewel-Osco’s app makes it easy to plan your shopping list, as well as to look for special offers. Anytime I spot something in store that wasn’t already on my shopping list, I’ll flip through the app to see if there are any coupons for the items I’ve just added to my cart. It makes my shopping experience fun and easy!

Carando meatballs are filled with flavor and are very dense, unlike other pre-packaged meatballs you may have tried.
