CBS News… AGAIN!

I was on the CBS News again today at 5:00pm in Chicago in a follow-up segment to yesterday’s coupon shopping story. This segment focused more on my coupon tips for saving the most money, as well as deals at the store that pay you some of your money back!

    First of all, feel better. While we all appreciate how you have shared everything with us, you have been running around for months now and deserve a break, especially to recover. Feel better soon.

    Next, I went to a small local grocery store this afternoon and they had installed new cash registers. The woman in front of me commented on how nice they were but then added “but you know what that means, higher grocery prices!”
    I went to get the Brownberry bread at Jewel tonight and though I managed to not get a catalina I did only pay $2.32. Fine for me. When I got home I mentioned what the woman had said earlier at the other store to my son who just saw my 7 loaf bread haul for $2.32 (after the earlier 14 cheeses) and he said “higher prices for her maybe.”

  4. I was very disappointed in the first segment they aired on the 10 o’clock news, but this one was the best I’ve seen. I thought they did a very nice job covering all the basics and really gave Jill some deserved air time. Thank god one of the news cast finally got it right. Keep spreading the word Jill :-)
