You’ve got a chance to win a $100 gift card for the Cellfire-affiliated grocery store of your choice. (In Illinois, that would be Dominick’s or Kroger/Hilander.)

Throughout the remainder of June, all you need to do to enter is reply to any of the three posts I’m writing about the giveaway! Each Tuesday from now until the end of June, I’ll remind you to enter. On July 1st, I’ll choose a poster at random to win the $100 gift card! It’s that easy!

  1. Who doesn’t love something for free?! I was so shocked to find out that using coupons I could get products for free. I have told all of my family and friends, and heck even some strangers at stores about my couponing and how much it is worth the time and effort I put into it!

  2. I was at Jewel and did a Conagra and a Dairy deal. After coupons my total was just under $13, I paid with a previous $10 Conagra cat and a $2 cat and about $.90 on gift card. I received a $10 Conagra and a $5 Dairy.
    Out in the parking lot this couple stops me and the gentleman says, “We were behind you in line and noticed you used a lot of coupons. Where’d you get them? Could you show my wife how to do that?” Then he says to his wife “Look six bags, probably only spent $30, we have two and spent $28.”
    “Well believe it or not they paid me $2 to take all this home.”
    “What?!”
    I showed them my receipt and the $15 in cats.
    “You have to teach my wife how to shop with coupons or marry me.”
    A proposal, uhm NO!, but I will start you out, “Do you have a computer with internet access? A printer? JillCataldo.com, start there and you’ll save a lot. Money and your marriage.”

  3. Since I’m a teacher I find myself shopping a lot more in the summer. This is my first summer couponing so not sure what I’m in store for as far as stock-up deals. Starting to get room in my freezer again- have found some good bread and buns deals but they take up LOTS of freezer space.

  8. Have always been a coupon and sale shopper, but never a stacker. I have actually had strangers AND checkers at the store stop me and ask questions when they see what I get for what I pay. One woman that rang me up was so surprised at the cats that were printing, she started getting excited like I just hit the winning slot machine. Nothing feels better than being able to help others out in these tough times, not because I am financially well off, but because I now have this valuable knowledge. Lucky for me, I had already been picking up my 2 Tribs at the Dollar Tree every saturday, as I always do. So I was able to hit the ground running immediately after Super-Couponing One. Didn’t take long to stock up for me, family and the local pantry. Thanks again!!

  9. I have 2 sons in college and they love “shopping” in my basement for all their “free” toiletries and paper goods. Their friends come over to play cards or video games and always leave with razors, body wash, contac solution, etc….Hmmmmmmm, I wonder if that’s what they’ll remember when they’re married with kids of their own one day. Instead of me being the mom who always baked the best cookies, I’ll be remembered as the mom who always gave them free sundries :) Thanks Jill!

  11. I have been using coupons for over 10 years but since using Jills site I have saved so much more. Whenever I go shopping I usally tell at least one person in the store about Jills site. I have told my co-workers, family and freinds. The look on their faces when I tell them how much they can save….is priceless.

  12. I live in the Rockford area and shop at Hilander. I use Cellfire coupons as well as paper. Before attending Jill’s class a few months ago, I thought it was too much of a hassle clipping coupons and never bothered. Well, after learning the tricks from Jill, I’ve been having a ton of fun and saving a ton of money too! Sunday has now been turned into my deal planning day! Thanks Jill!

  20. Free stuff? Yippee! I can’t believe how much free stuff is out there! Just bought (Hee hee) free toothpaste yesterday, and when we came home my 2 year old decided to eat some of her brothers! Not enough to hurt her…no worries there! I guess I should stock up on little ones toothpaste too!

  47. I have a two year old daughter and work fulltime. I discovered Jill a year ago. I attended one of her classes in Bloomingdale in June last year. At that time, I promised myself that I would try to save as much money as possible in order to be able to stay home with my daughter. We thought we were doing everything right. I got married the day after I graduated from college in 2004. We bought a house in 2006 and then had a baby in 2008. The only thing we didn’t really plan for was this bad economy. Our home is underwater despite our commitment to send extra towards the principle on our house for the first 2 years after we bought the house. Staying home was just not an option when my daughter was born. After a year of couponing, I have created a good enough stock pile and have learned how to maximize our money that I am confident staying home with my daughter is not too far away. In the next few months, I should be able to at least only work part-time. Thanks JIll for pointing me in the right direction.

  54. I’ve been dabbling with couponing and saving quite a bit, but late week everything really fell into place and now I’m hooked! I spent $38 at Walgreens between sales and big $ off coupons, but then got $30 back in register rewards! Then took that $30 to Jewel and worked the sales, coupons, and had a store coupon for $8 off $80 purchase – so I got about $100 worth for less than $50 and got another $15 in register rewards, scoring $100 of products for $35!     I have been thinking of writing to you for sometime …

    One of my friends mentioned about your class last year and how we can save money on our daily grocery, I did not believe her & thought it’s another promotional gimmick until I saw her grocery receipt and what she paid and what she bought… I was ecstatic and truly could not believe my eyes. Since then, I have been trying to attend one of your classes and mostly on wait list :(
    However it did not stop me, I started reading your blog and the deals you post each week and started learning and understanding how to shop w/ coupons, RR, catalinas… and I SAVED, that gave a thrill that my dear husband could not understand…. On occasions, I took my 6 yr old girl who helped me find the deals and held my coupons. On one such occasion, I must have bought few ice creams, frozen veggies and paid probably .63 cents and my little girl was amazed too – she said she loves these “ coupons” and next day she told the virtually everyone – grandmas, daycare provider, her little brother… I am glad she understands how to shop.

  80. Two years ago I randomly cliped coupons, gritted my teeth everytime the cashier hit the total button, made impulse purchases and did not own a freezer or have a stock pile of anything. Then a friend introduced me to Jill’s website. I saw the light. My shopping habits changed, I stopped frantic coupon forages, started shopping with a calculator and a plan and became addicted to Catalinas. My food budget got smaller and I and my family learned how to shop. Now I know exactly how much I spend, covet my freezer, eat better and spread the word whenever I can. I have made friends with staff at the grocery stores and the drug stores. Sometimes I’m a side show with my coupons and low grand totals, earning praise or disdain, depending on who is behind me in line. I am never embarrassed and welcome the opportunity to spread the word. We as a community have taken a bad economy and turned it into a positive shopping experience, thanks to Jill.

  81. I went through your Super Couponing class in Dec 2009, then I went again a couple months back. This used to be so overwhelming. But I’m finally on my way. Creating my own deals, following some of yours and saving more than 50% each week. The last two weeks I’ve gotten my total grocery bill down to $25 dollars.   96. Thanks Jill! You have opened my eyes to a whole new world of shopping. I’m an early riser, and I love to get up early on Sunday’s and look through the ads for deals, or should I say steals. I’ve even gotten my children looking for coupons when we go to the store. (Keeps them busy and out of trouble.) My friends don’t believe me when I say I bought $200 worth of groceries, and only came out of pocket $20. They just look at me like I’m crazy. I just smile back. It took a while to get use to the new way of buying, but I love it. Plus I now get BIG discounts on gas as well because the gas points accumulate on total dollars, not out of pocket.     Thank you for all of the tips and information that you provide… for free. You certainly could be selling this information, but you don’t. And I think that’s what a lot of people here appreciate about you. Times are tough, and what a blessing you are for those, like me, that have to watch where every penny goes.

    I preach your word to the masses, and I encourage anyone & everyone that I meet that is amazed by my savings to go to one of your classes.

    I try to follow your lead and donate all excess free items to the food pantry. Even more heartwarming is when I can donate lots and lots of dog food & treats. My local food pantry also accepts these donations, so I feel good that I can not only feed a family, but also their 4 legged family members.

  152. I couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear today as one of my 10-year-old twin boys asked me about your web site as I was looking up coupons. I explained the basics as he truly seemed interested. As we were doing errands later in the day, he asked me to buy him a new DS game. I quickly replied “No!”.   168. I’d first like to express my gratitude for this site and the class!I’ve cut my weekly grocery bill by half, and with a family of 7(and a 3 week old baby),it is a HUGE deal. Thank you Jill!

    I was desparate for paper towels this week, and Doms has a pretty nice deal on Bounty. In the ad, they are advertising 11.99 for the 12 Big Roll Paper Towels, but to my surprise, my Doms had it for $9.99. There is a P&G ecoupon for $3 off, plus I had a $1 off expired I did not use. I paid $5.99, which came out to .50 per roll. Not the best deal like we have seen in the past, but good enough for me right now:)

    With my fifth baby on its way I would definitely use it towards baby products.   182. I could sure use it this year!
    My teenage son has turned our house into the food house for his friends this summer. So every day after football practice, 2-4 of his friends show up looking for something to eat/drink, then sometimes stick around for dinner. Last week the took over the grill and made free brats (from the Coke deal), that they found in the freezer (from Jewel). Sandwich wraps with cheep lunch meat (from a Kraft cat deal). Then spaghetti with free ragu (from your bucks). Free Culinary Circle lasagna (from the freezer deal). This weekend my house has turned into a bed a breakfast, with sleepovers all weekend, so yesterday a $2.00 ham (after Jewel $2 off $5 pork Q, and a Cooks $1 off Q) and a bag of potatoes & cheep frozen veggies (from Meijer), and a dozen eggs this morning.
    Thank God for you Jill!! with out your help, I would be in the poor house by now!

I used to feel a little guilty like the store was losing money when I came in with my fistful of coupons. After taking your class I do not feel bad for the cashier, the store and I don’t even feel bad for the customers in line behind me!( I usually warn them I will be taking awhile) Lots more money remaining in MY pockets these days.
