So, who’s been out hitting CVS and Walgreens already this morning? My husband and I went to our local CVS at 8:15am and got everything you see above — all of the freebies, plus the .99 Listerine and Kraft cheese. We did get the last shaker of parmesan, but beyond that, everything was in stock. The Lake in the Hills, IL CVS had the majority of the free items on an endcap near the front of the store, which made deal-hunting very easy.

I do want to get to Walgreens later too for their deals (especially the Excedrin, which we never seem to have enough of in the Cataldo house.)

  1. Rolling Meadows store on Plum Grove was pretty well stocked at 7:00. If your going for the listerine floss be careful because they are not all ringing up at 2.99 and you won’t get the $2.00 ECBs. I picked up the listerine ultra clean in the purple packaging and it rang up at $3.29. I returned it for the “right one” – the ad does not specify which floss is part of the promo. Oh yeah, there are some printable $1.00 off qs out there that make this a freebee too.

  2. Jill, how much did you pay for all the freebies at CVS? I know the ECB cancel it out, but just curious what the out-of-pocket cost was.
