Clearance-hunting at Jewel-Osco today: Cheap Starbucks and K-Cups, .25 travel-size Crests

I spotted a few fun clearance finds at my Huntley, Illinois Jewel-Osco today. While there are no guarantees that you’ll find the same items at your Jewel, this may give you examples of the kinds of things you could find…

 

I spotted baskets of travel-size Crest mouthwashes and travel-size Crest Complete and Crest Be toothpastes — just .25 each!

10oz. bags of Starbucks Holiday Blend coffee are on clearance for $4.49. Use the $2-off-2 from the 1/18 SS and drop these to $3.49 per bag!

A bunch of other K-cups are on clearance too — these Candycane Cocoa cups are $4.99, and Papa Nicholas apple cider cups are $3.99.

Below those, an entire shelf of Rice Krispies Shapes cereal boxes are marked at $1.24 – drop them to .91 with the $1-off-3 from the 1/11 RP!

    The same Kellogg’s, also GM Diego cereal 18 oz for $0.90. Papa Nicholas 12oz or so bags of Christmas coffee for $1!
    Cream of Wheat for $1.24- $1/1Q= only 24 cents.
    Different kinds of cheap Nature Valley granola bars- $.50/2 Qs, big jars of Mincemeat for baking orig. $10, now $1, Marley coffee bags for $4.49- $1 on Ibotta, and many, many more.
    My Jewel had that Christmas Starbucks long time ago and I used $2/1 Q at that time that MUM had posted.
    It’s always good to take a look at clearance. :)

  2. I also found the Starbucks coffee at my local Jewel a couple weeks ago. They were marked down to $2.00, so $1.00 after the coupon. They also had a bunch of the Fall Blend (medium roast) coffee which was marked down to $1.00 per bag. So free after coupon. The fall bags had a end of January 2015 expiration date, but I bought them anyway. My DH goes thru coffee pretty quickly and I’m sure they will be good for awhile after the date. DH was extremely happy. Were stocked up on coffee for awhile!

  3. My store had holiday themed chocolate chips for $.87. One was a mix of regular, red chocolate, and green chocolate. The other was a dark chocolate and mint mix. I stocked up. Chocolate chip anything is a hit in my house. Separated the red chips out for valentine’s day, the green out for st. Patricks day

  4. Never under estimate the power of Jill’s blog!! I’ve been watching the clearance rack in my Jewel in McHenry. They had the Starbuck’s ground coffee Holiday blend on sale but not at a fantastic price. Several days ago the price was unchanged. Today? Price had dropped and they were completely cleaned out! LOL Put the Q back in my pocket for another day.

  5. went to the oak forest jewel yesterday and they had campbells creamy red pepper and gouda go soup on clearance for $1. i had $1off on mymixx so i bought one and got it free. at the end of my order i got 2 catalinas for $1.50 off 2 so when i went out later that evening i stopped and got 4 more. at the end of that order i got a $2 national catalina from campbells! so if i did the math correctly i think it was a small money maker.
