Hopefully none of you guys are buying coupons on Ebay anyway, but this one’s been in the news today. Apparently, there are fake coupons being sold on Ebay for a FREE Honeysuckle Turkey up to $25 value.
The CIC has issued an alert for retailers to look at and determine whether or not a Honeysuckle coupon being presented by a consumer is legitimate or fake. If you work at a supermarket, you may wish to print and post the alert so that your store’s staff can recognize the difference — these are some high-value coupons to lose out on if your store mistakenly accepts them.
And… really? People are paying $14 on Ebay for a turkey coupon when you can get a turkey for $2-$5 if you take advantage of the many $9 and $10-off-turkey deals that are out there?

She takes your class :-) She can give out several actual turkeys for that price :-) Speaking of Honeysuckle… there is a $1 off coupon that you can use in conjunction with the $10 off on http://www.redplum.com. However they seemed more expensive at my Jewel but I didn’t look too hard or carefully.

If the whole point of couponing is to save money, why would one spend money on coupons, which you can get for free? And, yes, Jill…she spent almost 14.00 for a “free turkey?!?” Huh?
