Does anyone know the rules at CVS? I thought I knew what I was doing there, but maybe I have forgotten. I had a $6/$30 coupon and a $2/$10 Charmin, and it turns out that I can’t use them together. At least, not if I only have $30 worth of goods in my cart. These were digital coupons in their app. Anyway, if anyone who shops CVS can confirm for me, I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

I have successfully used both if they are paper coupons that printed from the machine vs. the app. You have to make sure they are scanned in the right order ($6-off-$30 first, then the rest of your coupons) which isn’t easily achievable when you are dealing with electronic versions.

That is the order that I did them in ($6/$30 first). I did clip them first, digitally. They printed out at the end of the red coupon machine tape, in a list, and she could see them on the screen. I don’t feel like I understand the policy now. She said that besides the $30, I would have to spend the additional $10 to get the $2 off Charmin. Maybe I will try a different CVS next time and see what happens there. Thanks for your help.

You will need to buy $40 of stuff. You can use mfg coupons once you hit the $40 amount.

The system has changed. Now, you have to meet all thresholds in order to use the coupons, In this case, you have to spend $30 + $10. Manufacturer coupons don’t affect the threshold. You can use them but you have to spend $40.

For the “spend $30, get a $10 cash card” deal, do you have to hit the $30 after all coupons, or before?
