Something weird is going on with CVS. I tried to use the Colgate .50 SS coupon with the $2.50 CVS instant coupon. The cashier said I could not use both of them because the instant coupon was a manufacturer coupon. (She showed me the MFR on the printout.) I told her their ad online shows that you can use both. (For some strange reason the print ad in the store does NOT show that you can use both.) So she said she’d try to put it through. Well she was right – the cash register reduced the amount of the instant coupon. Needless to say I did not get free toothpaste like the online ad shows. Not a big deal because it was only .50, but this made me hesitant to try the Hershey’s and another instant coupon because these said MFR on them also. Has anyone else experienced this?
