Something to note when buying single sale items

For the first week ever, I noticed that the new ad features some items that have a higher single price but a lower "2-for-$" price, similar to what Walgreens has been doing. Keep this in mind if you are planning to buy items affected by the new pricing.

.24 Candy bars

Mars candy bars, Air Heads, and Mentos singles are .99. Buy one and get .75 ExtraBucks, limit 1. This drops the price to .24!

.69 7-Up 2-liter

7-Up, A&W, Canada Dry, Sunkist or Dr. Pepper 2-liters are .99. Scan your CVS card at the coupon center in store for a .30 coupon, dropping one bottle to .69.

$1.49 M&Ms

9.9-14oz. M&Ms are $2.49. Use the $1 cupon from the 4/3 RP and pay $1.49! The 3/20 RP has a .75 coupon too.

You can also get a free Square reader at the squareup.com website. (I realize it is essentially “free” when you take into account the full amount back in ECB, but wanted to point out you can get one without paying anything)
