“Nature Valley or Fiber One Grain Snacks 5.5-8.94 oz.- $1.99
– .50 off 2 Nature Valley – 10/21 SS, 9/30 SS2, 9/9 SS2 (exp. 11/3!)
– .50 off 2 Fiber One – 10/7 SS”
if you clipped the Crunchy Bars $1.25 MyMixx 1-2 weeks ago, now’s a great time to use it. (and with no generous yet problematic $5-off-4 General Mills mega-ecoupon to trample all over it!)
the following 4 offers each has a coupons.com printable, mymixx, AND savingstar (last being good thru 10/31, but decent chance reload):
– $1-off-2 Granola Bars, Biscuits, OR Soft-Baked Filled Squares (and presumably Oatmeal non-filled squares)
– $0.50-off-1 Granola Cups
– $0.50-off-1 Layered Granola Bars
– $0.50-off-1 Granola Bites
there are also a Mymixx and a SavingStar for the General Mills cereals, respectively good thru 11/14 and 10/31 (latter likely will reload come 11/1).

one store has Hillshire Farm Lit’l Smokies 28oz (i believe the normal, non-beef) on clearance for $3.49. compare that to a $3 sale price (ending 10/30) for ones half the size! and pair with a $0.55 coupons.com or mymixx.
———-
one store has Sola ice cream pints (all or most are Vanilla Bean) at a reduced price of $1.99. pair that with a $2 Checkout51 => freebie! (-OR- $1.50 Ibotta for close to that, if you clipped it weeks back.)
(sadly, i squandered my CO51 by pairing a SavingStar with an Ibotta months back, when the store price was considerably higher, and doing so let me get it nearly free.)
———-
“Hormel Black Label premium thick cut bacon 24oz. – $6.99”
aside: Tony’s has the 16oz version (normal cut) for $2.99 ending 10/30.
———-
“Chi Chi’s salsa 16oz. – .99”
the new Fiesta Style salsa (on sale for $2.50 ending 10/30) has $1 coupons around the necks at multiple Jewels, which are also good towards this traditional salsa. pay nothing!
another coupon option was a sticky i saw on a cardboard end display a few weeks back, for $3 off Chicken when you buy any 2 Chi Chi’s products. but it’s just good thru 10/31.
assassin says
another local pre-packaged meat clearance is Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh 9oz smoked turkey at $2.29.

a sale ending today 10/30:
“Save up to $5.99
BUY ONE Panera Family Size Soup 32 oz.
GET ONE FREE* Panera Soup 16 oz.
*in a single transaction.”
possible discounts:
– there’s a $3-off-10 SavingStar One or Many offer.
– 9/30 SmartSource1 has two coupons to choose from, for Panera Soup, Mac & Cheese, Pasta or Stew: $2.00 /2 (exp Dec 15), $1.00 /1 (exp Nov 10).
including the B1G1F sale, this is a LOT of things to stack! admittedly, this is descending from a lofty starting price.
there had even been a $0.95 Ibotta a few weeks back; it’s gone now, but i wonder whether it was an option earlier this sale week for even crazier savings.

“#Maple Cheerios are here!
Try a box for free on Friday, November 2nd by saying ‘Maple’ at the register to redeem. (Valid 1 per customer on 11/2 only).”
10.8oz (306g) is pictured.

a number of $1 to $1.50 bake shop seasonally flavored (mostly Pumpkin) MyMixxes showed up recently; they expire 11/22. among them are “$1.50 OFF Signature SELECT® Pumpkin Spice Filled Cupcakes, 11.5-oz.” and “$1.50 OFF Signature SELECT® Pumpkin Spice Mini Cupcakes, 10-oz.”.
today is Cupcake Friday, where a variety of cupcakes that normally go for $4.29 are on sale for $2.99. if the seasonal cupcakes are included in this promotion, $1.49 is a great bargain, which you can seize on when fetching your free cereal.
assassin says
nope, they don’t seem to be. the mini ones (6-pack) are labelled $3.99 and rang up there in a trial run. the full-sized filled ones (4-pack) are labelled $5.00; i didn’t try ringing those as i overlooked them at first, but i did the Maple type, which matched its sticker of $5.00.
the Cupcake Friday items appear to be limited to “Jewel Osco” cupcakes, which are clearly on their own table. but the branding gets confusing, as there are bake shop cookie bags that had been called “Jewel Osco” as well, and recently became “Signature Select”. and let’s not forget (most?) “Signature Kitchens” items taking on that moniker too. (thus making the adjective meaningless — until they roll out a “Signature Elite” product line?)
hopefully, pumpkin stuff goes on clearance by 11/22. :P

“[Buy 4 Sale]
Cheerios 8.9 oz., NEW Maple Cheerios 10.8 oz., Cocoa Puffs, Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Golden Grahams 10-11.8 oz.- $1.99
– $1 off 2 – printable
– .75 off 2 – 9/30 SS2
– $1 off 3 – 10/21 SS”
there is a new $0.75-off-1 coupons.com for Maple Cheerios.
and i wonder if the free box of these with 11/2’s W.o.D. still counts towards the 4-item threshold. if so, somebody who clipped the Nature Valley Crunchy Bars $1.25-off-1 MyMixx AND gets 3 total Maple Cheerios on Friday can pay $3.22 total for the quartet, or $0.81 average. (but hope you like maple!)
assassin says
“Chex Mix or Bugles 4.5-8 oz. – $1.99”
there’s a $0.50-off-2 MyMixx and SavingStar for Chex Mix, Bugles, or Gardetto’s. maybe save it for a better sale price, though.
Patty Meyers says
Regarding the Febreeze deal, the Cary Jewel sells the seasonal scents(pine and cranberry) for $2.99 and all others at $3.29. However, if they are on sale for Buy 3 Get One Free and you use (2) P&G BOGOF coupons, won’t that allow you to buy 4, but get 3 of those free? The coupon states you can use 2 identical coupons/day. It also states it’s only good up to $3, so you may have to pay an extra $.60 for two of the ‘free’ ones.

some more meat clearances (at one store, anyway, so mileage may vary):
– O Organics chicken sausage, 12oz (340g), 5 count, no pork casing, no chicken skin, fully cooked = $2.99 (from $6.99). varieties seen are Kale & Balsamic, and Spinach & Feta.
– Expresco ProSticks grilled chicken breast skewers, 4oz (115g), 2 count, fully cooked, and 21g (!!) protein per package = $1.49 (from $2.99). varieties seen are Mediterranean-Style and Sweet Sriracha-Style.
these were in an island refrigerator, as opposed to their usual aisle.

…of course not; i’m too busy on the second 13.1 miles.)

Hey! I normally respond…..yet I always have trouble signing in EVERY time (site used to keep me signed in?) I “tried” to post a reply at least 4-5 times this past week….mostly about more Facebook WOD offers…but every time I hit post comment, it hung up on “waiting…” and then poof my comment is lost to the internet fairies once again. I have learned to copy/paste before I hit post so I can (if important enough) go back and try it again!
I have been checking my store for your clearance finds but have yet to find any here. :>(
My store has been offering huge discounts on those nickel and dime produce items from past week. One day I found Bartlett pears for 39c lb. and they rang up reg. price of $1.49 lb. and next trip in the cheap sale tag was fixed! So today and yesterday they had them cheap again so I picked up about a dozen pears for about 12c each! I love those! I also snagged some free with coupons Driscoll’s raspberries which have been unadvertised sale priced at 99c each! Score. Check your store to see what they ordered too many of? Also, my store has been out of Jewel eggs for 3 days now. Our local paper offered a FREE dozen with an ad coupon (Bourbonnais only) and today my husband asked if the chickens were on strike and the guy brings out a whole case of eggs!? OK then.
See….basically blather here! :>)

greetings, fellow HU – MAN. how i’ve longed to see the words of another in this comments section.
it logs me out a lot, too, but hasn’t thwarted me from posting lately. (it has in the past as misguided anti-spam, if i use multiple mentions of dollars and cents or other taboo words.)
are the clearance items absent from your store, still there but at normal price, or a mix of both?
the little pears were tempting, but i passed after having bought a couple giant Asian pears on 10/20. what i did get was: 2 jalapenos, 2 tomatillos, and 4 rambutans. (the last are not nickel and dime, actually quite expensive per pound, but i see them seldomly.) nobody at this store seems to know what an edible rambutan is *supposed* to look like (nor did i circa post-Halloween 2017), probably because they just sell them seasonally as “freaky fruit”, so some nasty, spoiled stuff is kept on the shelf. hint: red is good, dark brown is bad. the ones i got this year were in between, so hopefully, i finally get to experience one as nature intended.
Calibabydolly says
No meat clearance on what you stated at all. Sola (ice cream) is still at $4.99 each! Those Enjoy Life choc. chip cookies were on clearance (red shelf tag at $1.98) yet bare shelf! I even printed up a coupon in case and also found the peelies…..but none to buy for the deal! Darn.
Our clearance section has terrible prices as of late. My friend works for the company Jewel hires to set the shelves and she told me you get the better prices on clearance in the regular aisles, just priced with those red tags now. I actually had been eyeing some Sunsweet dates on the clearance rack for weeks and they ALWAYS scanned in at $4.99 a bag. That is reg. price and not clearance! Why do they even put them there? People must be buying them thinking they are actually on clearance and getting ripped off!?
Anyway….my store had the pears back up to $1.49 yesterday BUT still had some raspberries I nabbed for FREE again! I have never heard of a rambutan before. I will look today though. :>)

Does Jewel allow a coupon in both items in a B1G1F promo? Could I use 2 $1/1 coupons?
Coupon Maven says
Yes, they do, and yes, you can.
