“5.5oz. Paqui tortilla chips are $1.50”
more precisely, they’re “Buy 1 Get 1 Free, Single Item Price $2.99”. :P
now the (sort of) fun part: Coupons.com has two printables on these:
– Buy 1, Get 1 Free
– $1.50 off one
that *should* let you get two for free! (i dunno whether the $1.50 can count towards the one you “paid” for in Jewel terms and thus stack — i.e. free money — or if you’ll have to acquire another pair to use it. either way, very nice.)
now the irritation: both coupons say “(Available at Walmart)”. even though Coupons.com has said such a notation doesn’t stop coupons from working at competitors, some cretin cashiers will still argue with it, and the cretin website still insists on adding this unnecessary ambiguity.

i’ll probably just buy the darn things at Walmart — regular price $2.83 — and save some trouble for a merely good, not stupendous, deal. but those braver and/or more patient are encouraged to try and report back. :P

Thanks! (That’s what I get for finishing these deals at midnight- look what I miss…!)
Jewel’s policy does exclude coupons that have another store’s name on them (despite what Coupons.com says) so yes – probably best to price-match & use the coupon at Walmart. I’m editing above.

no prob.. does “(Available at Walmart)” versus “(Redeemable at Walmart)” have any sway on Jewel’s policy?
or have things changed since your 2nd paragraph here:
https://jillcataldo.com/redeemable-at-walmart-printable-coupon-now-fraud-to-redeem-anywhere-else/
?
my reasoning as to why “(Available at Walmart)” might be acceptable when “(Redeemable at Walmart)” isn’t: a cashier can’t readily know whether “Redeemable at XXXXXX” means XXXXXX is merely an example store, or a complete list of permissible stores. however, with “Available at XXXXXX”, the cashier CAN verify whether the item is available at his or own store — simply by walking over to the shelf (or inspecting the customer’s cart).
the price-matching is a good call; i hadn’t thought of that. and i’m avoiding Jewel on this one, too. so my question is more for curiosity with how precise Jewel is on adjectives, and how strict it is on these coupons.
as for Walmart: does their policy allow for the B1G1F coupon to complement the B1G1F price-matched sale? if so, can the $1.50 coupon then “stack” with these discounts? example:
normally:
Item 1 = $2.83
Item 1 = $2.83
price match Jewel sale:
Item 1 = $2.99
Item 2 = $0
B1G1F coupon:
Item 1 = $0.16 (coupon has $2.83 limit)
Item 2 = $0 (this is still considered a “purchased” item from Manufacturer’s perspective)
$1.50 coupon:
Item 1 = -$1.34 (free money!)
Item 2 = $0 (this is still considered a “purchased” item from Manufacturer’s perspective)
i guess this depends on whether the price match results in two $1.50 items, or a $2.99 and a $0 item. (if they can’t raise an item’s price as part of a match, would they be willing to do $2.83 and $0.16?) even if the above doesn’t work with price-matching, would it work if Walmart had had its own B1G1F sale? i’m unfamiliar with their policies, and can’t deduce it from the website (it doesn’t seem to exclude it). thanks.

I think your reasoning is sound, and I went back and re-read Jewel’s policy tonight to clarify. I’ve revised the Paqui deal… AND, we have a brand new Buy One Get One FREE coupon for Paqui too which will make two bags free with that coupon alone! Thanks for your insight on this. Here’s my revised deal:
Buy two bags of Paqui chips and use two $1.50 printables to get TWO FREE!
There’s also a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE printable (up to $2.83.) With this, pay .16 for two more bags, or .08 each!
I’ve edited this deal because these coupons state “Available at Walmart” on them. Jewel’s policy states that they do not accept coupons that state REDEEMABLE AT [STORE NAME]” but the policy does not restrict “Available At.”

“2-liters of 7-Up, Dr. Pepper, Canada Dry and Squirt are .89 each, limit 4, with store ad coupon”
typo or you fell asleep partway through? ;)
to elaborate, there were 2 MyMixx coupons on this recently (good through 10/31). coupons.com had it as well (guessing 2 clips?). both were $1-off-2. neither are available anymore, but if you clipped/printed then, now’s a good time to use them.
so that amounts to 39 cents/bottle (or 44.5 cents/bottle for the MyMixx pairs if you shop at my usual store; i might try a nearby location that recently let a MyMixx take an item down to -$0.01 on the Hillshire Snacking chicken bites).
also, if you had 4 of these coupons, and bought just 4 bottles, could two $1-off-2 coupons stack on a pair of bottles? or would you need to buy 8 to use them all?
