Pringles 52 cents worked for me.
27 cents for Green Giant Rice Vegetables!!! : I tried 2 Green Giant Frozen Rice Vegetable with the $1/2 tearpad coupons on the freezer door at most Jewels now. It beeped at self checkout. Overide works perfect. Full retail is $1.99.
My wife likes the cauliflower varieties of these. Luckily they are part of the 77 cents deal!

Now I need to look for the riced veggies and that coupon. You could try the method you said ringing up the oatmeal at self check out. Scan 2 green giant, then a coupon, then 2 more, then another coupon and so on before you reach the 7 total to get the 77c price in the sale. The register always has a fit when the coupon is higher than the price. Since the reg price is $1.99 or the sale price before the buy 7 deal is $1.49, the $1/2 will work. It sees the $1/2 as overage after you buy 7 since it is only 77c and the coupon is a dollar. (even though it is actually only 50c off 1 box)
I was just there this morning buying my eggs and 69c lb. produce and didn’t even look at any of the 77c deals! I will next trip in after the roads are clear!

We bought 8 boxes (4 coupons) in a transaction at a human register. No beeps. No issues. I really hope someday Jewel & CVS & the rest who have different programming that is not coupon friendly at self check outs get that fixed.
