Note: I refer to coupon inserts found in the Chicago Tribune, as it is the newspaper with the largest quantity of high-value coupons for Chicagoland. Need a deal on the Tribune? Get Sunday delivery for .75/week!
Calibabydolly says
Hey Jill- Check your McCormick cpn. to see if it is 75c/2 or 50c/2. My insert one is 50c/2 but the one that was on coupons.com was 75c/3. Either one would make the packets 25c each after cpn, but I’m now wondering if you got a different value or just read the coupon wrong? (I used a ton of cpns up at Mariano’s over the weekend because they were BOGO there, too bad they don’t take a cpn. on the free item like Jewel!) I paid 29c a packet after my deal. Not quite as good.
Coupon Maven says
I just corrected it — for some reason, CouponTom was showing it as a .75-off-2. Which is strange, because I go through it each week and enter the values for the Chicago Tribune if they are different from the database. The database edits are showing someone else reporting a .75-off-2 in the Chicago Tribune too, which was overriding my edit. Strange! I’ve corrected the deal, and I appreciate the heads-up.
Feelgood says
Deals at Jewel this week are nowhere as good as they were the past few weeks.
I’d rather see better deals than that silly Monopoly game that’s starting this week.
Calibabydolly says
There is also $1/1 coupon to print for the Wholly guacamole on coupons.com to drop it down another 50c from that coupon from the Big Book. I wish we had a coupon for the Cuties, though $2.99 for 5 lbs is a great deal already!
Jackie says
How are the buona beef and meatballs? I’d have not yet found a frozen meatball I like!
Coupon Maven says
I myself have not tried them yet — anyone?
Karin says
We liked the beef. Haven’t tried the meatballs. We buy meatballs at GFS. Also like IKEA.
Rhonda says
Have you tried the signature kitchen ones? after trying many of the brand name ones I like these best
assassin says
curiously, the ad shows their Saturday Morning Sampler days in advance. have they ever done that before?
Coupon Maven says
No, I don’t believe they ever have — and your post threw me, as I could not recall seeing the Saturday Morning Sampler in my ad. I just went back and looked and can’t find it. Which page did you see it on?
assassin says
6, in the online ad. i haven’t looked at print one yet.
Coupon Maven says
Now I see it – the Noosa yogurt. I will add it into this week’s deals writeup too then since we’ve got such a long heads-up!
ms40s says
I see it in the print ad. It under the “Delightful Dairy” section.
Annie says
Hi Jill,
I see there is a $2 off 2 All laundry detergent digital coupon on my mix, can this also be used in conjunction with the 3 day sale? Thanks for your help.
Coupon Maven says
The MyMixx is a manufacturer coupon, so you can either use that OR a paper version of it, but not both on the same items.
ms40s says
Fresh Express traditional or tender leaf salad blends are 2/$4. The coupon from last month’s Big Book is $2/2 blends and expires tomorrow 2/10
Judi Cookie says
The Jewel weekly ad has Buona Italian Sausage 19 oz for 3.99. The 3 day ad has them for BOGO at 6.99. The service desk at Huntley honored the 3.99 price. So, 3.99 for two packages.
Coupon Maven says
NICE catch – I missed that one. I’m glad they honored it for you.
(I also missed you at that Jewel by about an hour today!)

“$2.12 Oreo cookies
10.1-15.3oz. Oreo cookies are $2.50. Buy two and use the .75-off-2 from the 1/15 SS to drop these to about $2.12 each.”
there’s also a MyMixx going: “Save $2.00 on any Milk when you buy TWO (2) OREO Cookies (10oz. or larger, any variety), Expires: 02/28/17”. not quite as good as free milk, and the generous Checkout51 deal is no longer going, but still very good price overall.
Cuponera says
I found a few more good deals at Jewel this week:
Juicy Juice boxes are on sale for $2.50. Use .55 off from SS 1/8. Then submit for .75 Checkout 51 offer. I bought the apple juice flavor,. and it worked with the .25 Ibotta apple juice rebate, making the total cost .95.
Quaker Breakfast Flats are $2.50/each. Use a $1/2 MyMixx coupon and submit for $1.25/each Checkout 51 rebate (limit 2). Total cost .75/each.
Also, the Rice Krispies are $1.99/buy 4 as you said. I used 2 $1/2 Kellog’s Family Rewards coupons and submitted for a $1 (must buy 3) Ibotta offer, and paid $1.24/each.
Also the free Noosa yogurt coupon is not working, so the cashier has to enter it manually. If you use the.75 Old El Paso Bold taco shells coupon on MyMixx, it did not register either, so you’ll have to go to the service desk.
Cuponera says
I forgot something- I also submitted the Rice Krispies for $1 back on select Kellog’s products on Checkout 51, making them .99/each.
assassin says
Checkout51 is $1.00 on the Breakfast Flats, not $1.25.
still a great deal, of course.
cuponera says
It must vary by user. I just double-checked my confirmation and I definitely got $1.25 for each.
letsshop says
Snuggle coupons are only 50 cents ,not a $1
assassin says
Barilla pasta 12 – 16oz is on sale for $1.25, and the 24oz sauce for $2.
there’s a new MyMixx for each, both good thru 3/13: $1 off 4 pastas, and $0.75 off one sauce.
