$5.99 Lucerne shredded cheese
32oz. (big bag!) Lucerne shredded cheeses are $5.99
There are 2 other places in the ad that show this exact cheese bag for $4.99!
$1.25 for the equivalent of an 8 oz. bag of shredded cheese is an even better deal!
Coupon Maven says
Wow, I missed that! We’ll have to see what the price is in-store tomorrow :) I am ready for a cheese stockup!
Calibabydolly says
They are actually $4.99 today per the web site, I also show a personalized price of $4.74! Limit 1 per day!
Coupon Maven says
It must be specific to your area! I went this morning and it’s $5.99 at my store – no $4.99 tags anywhere, I bought three different kinds of cheese too.

With Monopoly starting 3/3/2021, be sure to load the APP & log in BEFORE 3/3/2021, to get your bonus $25 entry as well as a supposed 10 bonus tokens. My tokens still read 0, but I did get the $25 Gift Card Sweepstakes Entry message.
We run to the Jewels for 1 or 2 things that aren’t on the “bonus item” list & this year, will get no pieces!
I really don’t care for the $25.00 minimum purchase for 1 game piece.

I’m curious. I’ve been reading some not-so-great reviews about this app. I, too, am disappointed in certain aspects of the game this year. (What amount was it before to get a game piece?) Although I was never a big winner (1 year I won $25 for in-store), I enjoyed the ‘hard copy’ of the game board although it was a fair amount of work. I did enjoy the freebie coupons.
I also think there will be many, many who played in years past but won’t bother, can’t do or don’t trust the online version. So, my question, how is the app doing on your phone? I am not a fan of ‘dicking around’ just to enter and play. If it’s too much work, my attention span won’t survive. And, certainly, don’t want it messing with my phone or planting all kinds of background stuff on it. I have a burner phone for which I buy cards. I refuse to be tied into a contract and this suits me just fine for texting, the occasional phone call and using wi-fi when out and about.
I practically live in Jewel although I am not shy in saying I’m a scavenging, coupon-using, sale shopping kind of shopper. Which means for me to run up $25 or maybe $50 to just get (2) tickets … meh.

the excellent $2.99 sale on 4-count Gourmet Brookies has continued into this week! best price i’ve seen on those in years!
i wasn’t sure what “gourmet” meant, but normal ones are indeed in the sale, seen in-store last week. i thought it might refer to fancier toppings, but so far, i’ve only seen those on brownies. i was in part being thrown by a washed out picture in the ad.

Signature Select Apple or Cranberry Cocktail Juice = $1.99
the Diet Cranberry juice in particular has an $0.75 e-coupon good through 3/7/21.
—
another store brand e-cpn expiring mid-week:
“$1.00 off Open Nature Greek or Icelandic Yogurt
When you buy FOUR 5.3-oz. Limit 1 offer.
Coupon , One time use , Expires: 03/07/21”
the Greek is still on sale for $0.88 (from $0.99), and the Icelandic still $1.00 (from $1.39). so the latter’s the better total discount, but the former is still cheaper per ounce.
—
Kauai coffee bags and k-cups are $4.99 sale thru 3/16/21, and there’s a $2 mfg e-cpn expiring 3/15/21.
—
there are a couple $2.50 mfg e-cpns for Kitu Super Coffee, 10-count k-cups and 10oz bags. i’ve seen the pods on clearance at a couple stores for $6.98.
—
Blue Diamond almonds 6oz cans are part of the Crazy 8s sale at $1.88. there’s a manufacturer e-cpn for one specific type:
“Save $1.00 Blue Diamond Almonds
on any ONE (1) Blue Diamond Whole Natural product (6 oz. or larger)
Coupon , One time use , Expires: 03/06/21”
so hurry in to land that for $0.88 !!
—
Boston Market frozen entrees are $1.88 in the Crazy 8s. shame the Checkout51 rebate is gone, and the $2-off-3 justforu expired on 2/28/21. however, a great price for a standalone (mix-and-match requirement aside) purchase.
—
if you have the Arriba Salsa “Special Pick” justforu (mfg), $2 off a 16oz jar, it expires 3/6/21. they finally put the things on sale, for $3.49, running thru 3/28/21. dunno why they’re so expensive at $4.49 to start — maybe being all natural? — but the final price is very nice.

Sesame Street cereal is $2.49 and you can load a $1.50 off coupon. Lucky Charms limited edition St. Paddy’s day cereal is $1.99 and there is a $1/2 GM cereal coupon to load.

I don’t have the Blue Diamond coupon in my J4U but I did have an old peelie I saved from the Fisher never fried peanuts for $1/1, so used that today to get 1 can for 88c!
I also wanted to note the Hills Bros. coffee is still $3.99 at my store! Even the decaf is included (our ad shows $4.99 as price?) but the tag says thru 3-16. I had a peelie off my last batch of coffee cans for $1/1, so got a can of decaf for only $2.99 today. They were sold out of those last week when we got the cans using our $2 J4u coupons.
Some nice deals today and have already played the Monopoly game. The coupons and free winners automatically get loaded into your acct after you scan in your tickets. It’s working so far….I just won a bunch of lame 50c coupons today plus a free box of water crackers. Good Luck!

Hi what store is the coffee on sale ? (not on sale at my Stickney store). Thanks !
Calibabydolly says
I shop at the Bourbonnais store. I wonder if this is because my next store (Kankakee) had their remodel a few months back? We also got a new Aldi across the street here, and I can tell you that these sales at Jewel here in Bourbonnais are WAY better than Aldi. It’s working to keep me out of there!
I also found $1/2 Blue Diamond almond coupon in my 1-31 SS. Another one is 60c/3 Red Gold tomatoes. If you buy 2, there is 50c back on ibotta for the chili ready ones only.

the $4.99 coffee is on Page 6 of the ad. are you saying that your ad lacks the items? (note that you might need to check the in-store ad, as mailed ones are often limited to 4 pages.)
Calibabydolly says
Yes, page 6 shows $4.99 but in store and online price is still only $3.99. I just checked the date and it says thru 3-16! I wasn’t even planning on getting coffee but when I walked by and saw the price was still $3.99 I just figured they left the old tags up until I checked it. I was really shocked the decaf was also included.
I’m looking at the paper ad I picked up in store and it does not say only good at this store, just “promotion pricing may differ between stores in different markets” I’d check the online price for your store if you had your Hills Bros. coffee $3.99 last time because it still may be on sale there as well?

Thanks for this. I was logged in and tried to load per your link … wouldn’t for me. It also didn’t show as a clip-it for me when I tried to find it. Unfortunately, my freebies have completely dropped off. Has anyone else noticed that? Maybe I need to shop there less and see if that improves things. They really should reward loyal customers with the freebie ‘carrot’ like they used to. Otherwise, I have multiple places to shop that offer the quality I seek at prices that rival or are lower than Jewel. Hard to give up my loyalty but I can do it if necessary and only use Jewel as my loss leader store. Meijer has been bombarding me with coupons. Might have to rethink my patronage there.
assassin says
that’s because it’s a Personalized Deal, running thru 3/16/21, not a Saturday Sampler. :P so it won’t clip for me, either. it can be confusing when a PD freebie shows up on Saturday morning.

“.88 Dannon Oikos or Light & Fit yogurt
5.3oz. – .88”
individually, these are on sale for $1.00. i have a Personalized Price for $0.95, limit 1 per day. because P.P. discounts have stacked with mix-and-match sales in the past, i was hoping that’d be the case here: i.e. it’d ring up at $1.00, decrease to $0.95, and then once the buy-8 kicked in, knock off another $0.12 to land at $0.83.
however, no go; the personalized price never kicked in, even though the chosen Light & Fit Creme Brulee is indeed shown in its linkages.
i’m thinking i might have made a mistake by scanning the yogurt 8th; since its price practically *immediately* dropped to $0.88, the $0.95 P.P. never would have had REASON to kick in.
now, it’s only a 5-cent difference. :P however, this cautionary tale of rags to dirtier rags might prove useful for a fellow cheapskate who is trying to stack these things. :P

there’s a manufacturer justforu:
“$1.25 off Dr. Praeger’s Product
on any ONE (1) Dr. Praeger’s Product
Coupon , One time use , Expires: 04/04/21”
most of the items are not on sale and regularly priced at $4.99, so not worth using yet. however, 2-pack sliders, 4.7oz / 132g, are on sale for $2.00 (from $2.99) thru 3/16/21. Perfect Burger Slider and a Chick’n Slider (can’t remember whether the Original or the Buffalo) were seen in-store. now, only the Burger one is showing up in the coupon linkages — but that might just be because i can’t find the Chick’n ones on the website, period.
anyway, for whichever sliders are linked, pay $0.75 final!
(as a curiosity, Halo Top Vanilla Bean keto pint, at $2.00 probable clearance, is also showing up in the linkages. perhaps somebody went copy+paste crazy from the “$1.25 OFF Halo Top Pint on any ONE (1) Halo Top Pint” e-cpn?)

the Starbucks 4-packs (9.5 fl oz / 281 mL Frappuccino bottles, later joined by DoubleShot 6.5 fl oz / 192 mL cans) granting a freebie bakery item (which’d be on individual sale for $2.49 during the lifespan of the promotion), perpetually rotating every 2-3 months, has been a Jewel-Osco tradition FOR YEARS.
however, the fiends changed that in early February 2021. :O now it’s:
“Buy one Lipton PureLeaf Tea And Get one Sliced Loaf Cake FREE!*
Lipton Pure Leaf Tea
6 pk., 16.9 oz. Bottles , Select Varieties
Sliced Loaf Cakes , 14 oz., Select Varieties [Old Home Kitchens is the brand i’ve seen in-store.]
Max Value $2.49
Offer effective from 2/3/21 – 4/13/21 INSTANTLY REDEEMABLE AT CHECKOUT
*per customer in a single transaction”
i’m more of a coffee than a tea person, but was willing to bite. however, the dang tea hasn’t been on good sales, a $4.99 as part of a mix-and-match aside. that changed this week, where it’s $5 no strings attached!
i had the Old Home Kitchens Pumpkin Creme loaf cake on seasonal clearance a couple months ago, and it was nice.

The Greek Gods Yogurt, 24 oz. is $3.49 on sale (advertised, and website shows it running thru 3/16/21). there’s a $0.75 e-coupon for that or the 4-pack, expiring 4/14/21.
admittedly, the price per ounce isn’t as good as it seems, given this is “Greek *style*” yogurt as opposed to “Greek *processed*”, so it’s not the high-protein kind. however, it does taste nice.
