re chobani flips: this is another go-around of the $0.10/cup final price, first seen in the 1/15 – 1/21 topic. that’s because the new $2-off-10 JustForU is a store coupon, which pairs with:
– the two instances of $1-off-5 manufacturer e-cpns clippable last week. OR
– the $1-off-5 checkout51 rebate, limit 2. OR
– the $1-off-4 paper coupons present in chobani brochures in at least one Jewel.
if for some reason you didn’t clip the mfg JustForU’s, or the registers fail to pair them with the store e-cpn despite policy allowing it, there are still the other 2 options.

Do you mean $.60 a cup after $2/$10 JFU and two $1 off coupons?
assassin says
yes. i didn’t itemize the e-giftcard in the $0.10/cup total, because it was already covered above, and isn’t reliant on the registers cooperating.
jane says
Thanks! I forgot about the gift card.

Nathan’s beef hot dogs are on sale B1G1F (dunno the normal price; $5-something?). there are 2 digital coupons to save $2 on any hot dog buns with one pack, and i’m seeing 1 as still clippable. if both of these indeed kick in on a single 4-item transaction (neither store policy nor coupon fine print prohibit it), this’d be one heck of a combo! if it only kicks it once, it’s still pretty good.

A note to say that the flat cut of the Reuben brand of corned beef is some of the best corned beef I’ve ever eaten! I bought it for the first time 3 years ago and was hesitant because my experience over the years with lower-priced corned beef has not been good. But this was so delicious, I tried to go back to Jewel after St. Patrick’s Day to buy more — but it was gone. Jewel only carries the Reuben brand during the St. Patrick’s Day period, so get it while it’s in stock!

to follow up on the chobani flips and the nathan’s:
– the chobani store $2-off-10 e-coupon worked fine, and the two $1-off-5 manufacturer e-coupons initially applied, but one was promptly reversed. i had my $1-off-4 paper coupons with, and could have used one. but i am a stubborn masochist, so instead am submitting the receipt for the CO51 rebate with a handwritten note addressing the 2 mfg cpns appearing on it. this should go smoothly… O_o
i tried “jostling” the register by ringing up a candy bar afterwards, but it did nothing, so was voided.
—-
– one of the $2 mfg e-coupons for the Nathan’s hot dogs and any HD buns applied, but it never tried to apply the 2nd, not even when i tried “jostling” the register by ringing up a tomato afterwards. the employee thought this was because one Nathan’s was already free, but did agree to put the -$2 through manually.

summary: Jewel registers are still stupid.
assassin says
the chobani $1-off-5 Checkout51 went through last night 3.6 hours after submission, with no issues!
(the CO51 supply is since running low, but maybe it’ll refresh tomorrow?)
