Check your Ibotta for Jewel because I have 2 different 50c offers on the Gorton’s fish for the sale tomorrow! I cannot wait to check out that shrimp along with this offer!
Coupon Maven says
Awesome – yes, it’s going to be a good sale! I will add a note about Ibotta above too — thanks :)
Calibabydolly says
I wanted to note the offer on the Dannon yogurt says 6 oz. in the ad but the whole milk ones the manuf. cpn. is for are actually 5.3 oz. now. I got 3 of them today and the 50c Monopoly store cpn would not scan. She checked the weight on the yogurt cup to see if it matched and manually took off 50c. I think the sale price of 48c may be why it wasn’t scanning since it was over the price of the single cup? Anyway, the B2G1 manuf. cpn did scan in fine for the 48c.
My store had a ton of shrimp in stock but I think the strawberry shipment must not have come in yet. They only had a few packs of strawberries, so I may go back later this week since that 99c price is a steal, especially if they have Driscoll’s brand where you can use a cpn. on them!

Kraft Snack Trios, single packs are on sale for $1. there is a $0.75-off-2 single or 3-pack on MyMixx and Coupons.com. then there is $0.75-off-2 any variety or size on Ibotta. that brings them to $0.25 each!
admittedly, the starting regular price of $1.50 or whatever for ~1.5oz of food is a bit steep, so i try not to be *too* excited over percentage savings. but there’s enough stacking here where the raw dollar amount is very nice as well.

I have a Monopoly coupon for .50 off Mott’s Applesauce Cups.
Calibabydolly says
I also had a Monopoly 50c/1 cpn. for the Dannon yogurt to use with the buy 2 get 1 free manuf. cpn, so I got 3 for the price of 1. I was hoping to make it a MM because I knew I saw it on Ibotta but that was a Walmart only offer! Oh well, at least it was still a great price plus the Gortons fish actually matched the offers I had on Ibotta. I had to get get 1 fish sticks along with the breaded fillets to get both offers.

Possible Gorton’s coupon:

Calibabydolly says
Nice “catch” on the coupon! I also spotted another Ibotta offer that you may also have for the fish today. It just popped up “any frozen brand Pollock fish sticks or fillets” I scanned the UPC code on bag of Gortons fish sticks and it is a match, for 50c. This fish deal just keeps on giving! I will post redeem the $1/2 coupon you found to print, awesome!

I am hoping you can help me. I went to Jewel this evening and tried buying four cans of beans with four coupons. They told me they were copies and couldn’t take them because the number on the coupon was the same. I didn’t copy the coupons. The cashier made me feel horrible, like I was a criminal. She would’ t even try scanning the coupon. I even went to the service counter, and the manager who has known me for years said the same thing, “can’t use them because it has the same number’. She explained the coupons would be returned stamped with “duplicate.” I walked out without purchasing any items.
Has couponing changed that much? Does Jewel not accept computer coupons?
Any information would be truly appreciated.
Thank you so much,
Coupon Maven says
Jewel does take printable coupons from the computer, but the store is right to not accept coupons with identical serial numbers. If they do, the clearinghouse will indeed send them back as duplicates and refuse to reimburse the store for them. I’ve noticed that a lot of cashiers are (correctly) trained to look at the serial numbers on like printable coupons to eliminate accepting any identical duplicates.
Even if you print the same coupon twice from a site like Coupons.com, they will still have different serial numbers on them. Some printers do store or cache a copy of what was previously printed and have a function on them to print or reprint the last document in cache. You cannot do that with printable coupons though, because each one is designed to be unique.
If for any reason your printer does print two completely identical coupons with identical serial numbers, you should discard one, because if the store accepts a copy, they won’t be reimbursed and will take a loss on that sale.
So, how did you get four completely identical printable coupons? Did your printer malfunction?

these are store coupons. it says on the coupon one per transaction.
ChristianCJK says
She printed 2×2 across two computers. I just ~posted this on MashupMom:
Okay, serial numbers… in most cases… not only is the dot-scan barcode (aka serial number -> upper right, for Coupons.com coupons) unique, but if you look closely… the main GS1 DataBar barcode (typically lower left) is also unique. This is true among many of the electronic coupon issuers (Coupons.com, SmartSource, etc.)…
Ah yes, that O Organics coupon is an exception… that is not a GS1 DataBar barcode on that coupon, but rather a UPC-A barcode, which is seriously outdated…
I would have certainly taken umbrage at that photocopy remark (them’s fightin’ words), but there’s nothing on that coupon that shouldn’t bar you from ringing your products as separate transactions*, however… ?
* This actual coupon states: “Limit 1 coupon per transaction while supplies last.”
Coupon Maven says
Thanks for the update – that O Organics coupon is still around? I remember it from last fall.
UPDATE: Thanks for the heads-up — indeed, the $1 off any O Organics printable is back. I’ll add a separate link to this under Hot Deals with a caveat. It is indeed limited to 1 per transaction.
It has the “old style” bar code because it is a store coupon. However, I printed two and both have unique serials/barcodes in the upper right corner. If you use one per transaction, you should be fine.
Calibabydolly says
I’m not sure exactly which bean printable coupons Mary was trying to use at Jewel because I am not on Facebook on MUM and has she responded here further about them? I know the O Organics cpn is a store cpn and yes those would have the same numbers on them BUT is that the coupon in question? I found an odd email in my junk folder in Yahoo and decided to click on it and see if it was junk or not. It is from Bush beans and there is a $1 coupon off ONE CAN or “any product”! I decided to try to print it and low and behold it had me download some coupon printer which is from Connect 1-1????? I printed up 2 and they are exactly the same bar code numbers and look exactly like you made photocopies of an insert manuf. cpn. I am shocked. I have been using printed and insert cpns for years and have yet to see this situation. It sure looks like a legit cpn, has the address to send to for the store, yet is NOT a PDF file which allows you to print unlimited. (I tried to print a 3rd one and it came up error, no cpns to print) I am going to try to use 1 of these at Jewel today and see what happens? I will let you know.
*oh, it also prints a full page recipe for “Bush’s Easy White Chicken Chili” below the cpn. And I also got a new email this morning from Nestle’s for $1/1 any Coffeemate product. In case you use your MyMixx one and want more! Limit 2 prints.
Calibabydolly says
Well, Jewel has the Bush’s beans for $1 a can and my printable cpn. scanned in just fine. I also used the O Organics one on a can of black beans for $1.25, making those 25c after cpn. Then I submitted the Bush’s can to Checkout 51 for another 75c off. That’s 2 cans of black beans for free and 50c profit after the app!
I had to get rain checks for the weekend MyMixx freebies today though. They also substituted any small candy bar for the rain check I have been waiting for for the Maltesers bar from last month! I got a Snickers! I wanted to get some strawberries and a bottle of Coffeemate today but they were out of both of those too. I forgot to get rainchecks on those as well. I need to run to Jewel early Sat. morning if I expect to ever get anything that is on special. Stupid me!

Quaker Instant Oatmeal, 11.5-15 oz., is on sale for 2/$5. there’s a new $1 MyMixx: “Save $1.00 off one (1) box of Quaker® Instant Oatmeal (excludes cups) , Expires: 04/29/17”. then Checkout51 has a great offer on one Limited Edition flavor: “At Select Retailers: Quaker® Apple Cheddar Rosemary Instant Oatmeal , Earn $1.50 Cash Back , 390 g.” (that’s 13.76oz) Jewel is one of the 4 retailers listed, so i hope they have it; if so, it’s a freebie!
if not, $1.50 is still quite good, though it can’t match the crazy $0.50 on Signature Kitchens my local store had a week or two ago.
assassin says
didn’t see this flavor at either Jewel i visited yesterday, so you might have to settle for $1.50, but some locations could have it.
assassin says
there’s a $2 MyMixx for Tombstone Roadhouse pizzas, currently on sale for $6.99. but at least 2 stores have the Piled High Pepperoni on clearance for $4.98, and at least 1 has Bring On The Meat for same.
(self-kick aside: unfortunately, i grabbed pepperoni, of which i already have plenty in other brands, from the first Jewel i visited earlier, before encountering BOTM at the second one when tracking down Cinnamon Pebbles. i totally should’ve swapped them out. seems slightly unethical, but can’t put a finger on as to why. :/)

Nabisco multi-packs (12 ct) are $3.99. hard to say how good of a deal this is, as weights vary. but there be stacking. a new MyMixx appeared: “Save $1.50 off any bread when you buy ONE (1) NABISCO Multipack (12 ct. or larger, any variety) , Expires: 03/31/17”. plus, Checkout51 currently has $1 off NABISCO “12 packs or larger, any variety.”
