A note on overage and B1G1F sales

Jewel’s coupon policy allows shoppers to apply manufacturer coupon overage to other items in the same transaction. It also allows two manufacturer coupons to be used on a Buy One Get One Free sale.

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon may appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

I checked the Algonquin Jewel for the Tabatchnick soup and they don’t stock it. The sale ad says “not available in some locations”…

Does any one know for sure of another location in the area that has it? I’m positive Buffalo Grove does, but I’m not going to drive that far for a couple boxes of soup. Dundee? Crystal Lake? Huntley?

The sale continues through this week, and I’m guessing through Passover at the end of the month.
