“Pace Salsa, Picante Sauce or Dips 15-16 oz are .99”
a coupons.com for $0.50 off Pace salsa or picante sauce just appeared!
assassin says
and a JustForU of same showed up since. (i specifically checked before, but it was delayed a little.)

And I just paid $2.99 for some Pace salsa at Kroger yesterday! Was going to add there is also a 20c ibotta for those, limit 2, so with the new 50c coupon, I may be able to redeem myself in the future! (I was chasing a bonus and we actually needed the salsa!)
To go along nicely with the whole Mexican theme, J4U has buy 2 get 1 free avocados! So at 46c each, when you buy 3, makes those a steal! I think I see a taco salad brewing in the next week!
assassin says
yeouch!! and i felt bad for paying $0.88/lb for Vidalia onion and $0.99/lb for Roma tomatoes. was that a 15-16oz’er, or did you at least get 24oz out of it?
Calibabydolly says
Oh…twas the small jar; 16 ounces! Defeats the whole purpose of getting my $5 bonus. I may try to post redeem a 50c coupon at Kroger but they have been swamped by the time I get in there. I’m not old enough for the senior hour! Husbands bonus reset, so between the 2 of us, we claimed $15 in the past week in ibotta bonuses.
I just wish Jewel would get some hand soap in. I won 3 Open Nature 12 oz. bottles in Monopoly so far but every trip in the complete shelf is wiped out! We are on the last 2 small Dial soaps now. I guess we could break out the bar soap if needed?
Calibabydolly says
I found my hand soap today at Jewel! So happy
But…my store shows the Pace salsa @ $1.99 instead of 99c. I was so excited to get that price too. Especially after adding the new coupon in to the factor. :<(
Some nice produce prices though!
Eun says
I see the Pace at $1.99 too. They’re 2/$3 at Mariano’s though.
I got a bunch of interesting $1 off coupons in j4u: bakery, produce, frozen, o organics and open nature.
assassin says
echoing both of you on the $1.99, and echoing Eun on the Mariano’s ad price.

on the subject of Mariano’s: i’d print the heck out of the coupons.com $0.65 off Oikos Blue (traditional), if you haven’t already! and clip the digital, if still available. they’re $0.88 starting tomorrow. the coupon text excludes Triple Zero, but the digital linkages are including those (with the exception of Orange Creme, which is not even on sale and probably a defunct/clearance item), though the latter might change as the week progresses.

Treasure Cave blue cheese crumbles 5oz are on sale B1G1F @ $4.99 . there was a HV $1.50 coupons.com recently printable, and a justforu of same recently clippable. no prohibiting of overages in the fine print, and store policy allows using a mfg cpn on a store-granted freebie. pay $1.00 each!
Calibabydolly says
My Krogers has $1.99 Pace price as well. Don’t have a Marianos close.
I bought 3 avocados at Jewel this morning and after I got home now see the J4U free one did not come off! ahhhhhhhh
I have used my 65c Dannon coupon at Jewel when it was $1 a cup and think I may have redeemed the digital one at Kroger when it was also a buck? Funny little rule my Kroger has is they will NOT ALLOW a printed coupon for 75% or more off the price of item. But….that would be 66c! Ha! I am going to try to use the 65c coupon and see if they take it. It is on sale for 88c this week there too!

From time to time, I get a bunch of $1.00 coupons in my personalized offers. This week, there are $1 coupons for: Bakery, Produce, Frozen, O Organics and Open Nature. (also $1.00 on anything) Although a LIST would be ideal, I am hoping that people could post some suggestions about Items in these categories that are $1 or just over that they found. It probably isn’t hard to come up with produce or bakery, but EVERY item in the freezer aisle doesn’t trigger the coupon. I have a REALLY hard time finding Open Nature and O organincs items. I think the O organics animal cookies are usually about $1.25, but since they are part of the Monopoly prizes, they have been hard to find.
Calibabydolly says
Open Nature Greek yogurt is 77c each right now. Not sure if you get credit for your $1 if you buy 2 cups @ $1.54 minus $1 = 54c or 27c a cup? It may not work on items below a dollar. Or the register may take the dollar off the 1st cup, showing -77c and then charging the 2nd cup at 77c, thus not really getting the whole $1 off?
There are also O Organic produce items. You could get another dollar of extra produce that way! We are having fun with that dollar coupon, combining it with Monopoly wins and the monthly points too. Today we found a ton of Dannon yogurt with 50c peelies on them and they also must be doing double or triple Monopoly tickets now since we got lots of them today? Only 3 more days left!
assassin says
a few months or more back, i tried a $1 e-coupon that i believe was “off any Open Nature” towards 2 Greek yogurt cups just like your scenario. i was hoping it’d span the two. but it only attached to 1, and the moronic $0 floor was enforced, so i got stiffed out of $0.23. now, it’s possible they’ve fixed the behavior since then. especially if they made it work like the next paragraph.
for the $1 Frozen coupon, on 4/30/20, i bought two Oberweis 4 fl oz ice cream tubes, 1 Vanilla and 1 Chocolate. they’re normally an obscene $1.49 each, but were on sale for a respectable $0.50 locally. i rolled the dice: the departmental coupon kicked in on the second one, and the full $1 was discounted!
as a backup, consider Friendly’s 6 fl oz sundae cups: they’re normally $1.99, on advertised sale for a decent $1.29.
now, i dunno whether a “$1 off Brand” coupon can readily be retooled to work like a “$1 off Department” coupon. hopefully, they do so at some point, if they haven’t already.
as for O Organics, i haven’t really investigated. but one idea is their pasta sauce (25oz), normally priced $3.49, and on sale for $1.99 locally. you won’t find organic pasta sauce at $1 anytime soon, and the net result is 70+% off of normal price.
—–
you can find lists for eligible Open Nature and O Organics items by clicking on the offers via the webpage as opposed to the app. the O.N. list is quite long (but maybe not comprehensive, as it only shows 1 of ~4 Icelandic yogurts as eligible), and the O.O. insanely so.
Calibabydolly says
We got the O Organics pasta sauce for 99c with that coupon, Thanks!
I saw the ice cream tubes but decided to try that when my husband was with me because it won’t make it home from the store! I also see O Organics bottles of spices/herbs are 33% off. There are some only $2 each now, so only a buck after the coupon if you need anything?
