For the Red Gold products on sale, there is a 60c/3 on the tomatoes plus a 50c/1 on the ketchup on ibotta. I also have $2/1 (limit 5) on the Screamin’ Sicilian pizzas!

My husband does not have the Creamette’s pasta coupon on his J4U, yet I did. It must have hits its limit? I know I clicked mine weeks ago. I bought mine today and it actually gives you overage of 25c! Hey…I’ll take 5 FREE mini sweet peppers any day! Last week the store coupon did not give overage on the salad bag but this one is a manufacturer coupon. Even Steven.

I loaded my Creamette pasta coupon last week – I’m sorry for any that missed it.

Yeah I didn’t see it either. A few weeks ago I got the free item of the week. Do they not do that anymore?

Land o’ Frost lunchmeats are B1G1F mix and match: Simply Delicious 8oz, and Premium 16oz
there’s a brand new coupons.com for $0.75 off the Premium sliced lunchmeats, 10-16oz.
Jewel-Osco Summer 2014 coupon policy permits using a cents-off coupon on a free item. and while i have not printed the coupon yet, its Walmart and Target *digital* versions have no fine print prohibiting cash back.

a JustForU has since appeared. and confirming that that and the paper coupon don’t prohibit overage in fine print.

Question about J4U rewards; If I select and clip the FREE bag of Signature Select chips and they are on sale this week for BOGO free, will I get 2 bags FREE if I redeem my reward during this sale? My husband clipped the $1/1 coupon in his J4U and the buck came off when he bought 2 bags the other day, charging him $2.29 instead of $3.29 for both bags.
He did not clip the FREE bag in his rewards. He chose the FREE head of lettuce (which did NOT come off, another story!) I think getting 2 bags free sounds pretty good for only redeeming 1 point! What do you think? Thanks!
assassin says
i’d also like to know the answer to this! can say that a family member successfully combined a FREE *Monopoly* coupon for the chips with a BOGO sale. not sure whether cashier intervention was required, but if so, it wasn’t involved or long.

as an aside: i recently had a $1.48 Personalized Price for the potato chips, and decided to try combining it with the $1 off e-coupon and the BOGO. the PP made no mention of the ongoing BOGO, neither when listing the lower price, nor listing the normal price of $3.29. so i had no clue whether the $1.48 would overwrite the “BOGO @ $3.29”, or if i could “insert” that lower number _into_ the BOGO. another concern i had was that the $1 coupon had a minimum purchase price of $1.99 in its fine print — meaning the $1.48 PP *could* possibly deprive me of it. (yes, trying to plan for all combinations in advance made my head melt.) the results:
– scanned Wavy BBQ potato chips, rang up as $0.48 after applying both discounts
– scanned Kettle Sea Salt and Black Pepper potato chips, rang up as $1.48
– just in case the system was buggy about applying discounts, i rang up some roma tomatoes after. no change to chips’ prices.
– had them void the Kettle chips.
so the Personalized Price DID overwrite the BOGO element, but was still quite advantageous when buying 1 bag (and $0.98 each also would have been better than $1.15 each when buying 2 bags).
and i assume normal potato chips and kettle chips normally mix and match fine with the BOGO sale.
was too lazy to cut out the $1 paper coupon and bring it with; i could’ve had a second bag at $0.48!

another aside: the Free chips reward specifies 7-8oz. however, the price tag for the 16oz Wavy potato chips at the local store has the added section saying that it can be gotten free by redeeming 1 reward. wonder which one’s right? (iow, is the note on the 16oz pure sloppiness, or indicative that their computers are including it in the rewards?)

(a repost and refinement from last week, as most of this stuff is still ongoing:)
1) there’s a $1.50 digital coupon and same paper coupon (retailmenot, 5/5) off of Signature Select franks. per the website, it applies to both Beef (not on sale currently), and to Meat (as in turkey, chicken, and pork blend), which ARE on sale through 5/28, in a 16oz size! buy up to 2, and pay 50 cents each!
2) there’s a $0.50 digital coupon for Signature Farms snack packs — kept in the produce section, and generally a mixture of veggies, cheese, dip, and sometimes pretzels/etc. they were on sale last week for $1.67 (but no tag at local store) from $1.99, and run about 4oz.
—-
two frozen foods clearance+coupon coups:
3) Outsiders pizza has another $3 high-value JustForU coupon: 26.6 to 28.1oz listed, and the corresponding larger, Detroit-style rectangular type is pictured. (now, the local store carries 2 of this type, and 2 of the circular, smaller [18.x to 22.x oz.] Milwaukee-style type, and they’re the same price as Detroits, so maybe they’ll work too?) i laughed at the 5/8/19-expired first iteration, as they’re like $9 pizzas that weren’t on sale at the time. then my 5/12 store visit showed these to be on clearance for $4.48 (with 20190510 dates on the tags), meaning a great stacking chance was narrowly missed. but as mentioned, there’s a second round of the e-coupon! pay $1.48 for a good-sized pizza!
4) White Castle 4-pack breakfast sliders have 3 types on clearance (from $4.49 originally, and running 10.x to 11.x oz.):
– turkey, egg white, and asiago cheese = $2.48
– sausage, egg, and ghost pepper cheese = $2.48
– chorizo, egg, and smoked gouda cheese = $3.88 (why so weakly priced?)
there’s a $1-off-1 coupon in the 4/28 smartsource and smartsource2. besides, i fortuitously found conjoining white castle coupons laying on the floor by the freezer at tony’s 3 days prior — perhaps originating from a Coupon Fairy? and this is the better of the pair, as the other is a $1-off-2 for more standard slider types. the $1-off-1, which i used to purchase the above turkey, is good for 5 specific types:
– Breakfast
– Chicken
– Turkey
– Veggie
– Black Bean
my item has 24g protein per half-box (i.e. a package of twin sandwiches), while the sausage + ghost pepper has a solid 21g. so over twice the protein of a box of Hot/Lean Pockets (for instance), yet a similar to lower final price of $1.48!
if you lack newspaper subscriptions and a Fairy Godmother sprinkling floor coupons in anticipation of your arrival at competing grocery stores, then try the $1-off-2 Checkout51 rebate, and pay a still very nice $1.98 per box.

Awesome find on the clearance Outsiders pizza and White Castle breakfast sliders! Our store had the big Detroit ones clearance $4.48 and we each had coupons clipped in J4U for $3 which came off fine. We also found the turkey sliders for $2.48 and each got 2 boxes. I had $1/2 from inserts and he used 2- $1/1 coupons on his.
I also got the Screamin Sicilian with my J4U plus claimed it on ibotta already for $2. I have to go back before tomorrow night because I am working on my $5 bonus in ibotta. My freezer is packed now, Thanks again!

My friend tried the clearance Outsiders round Milwaukee style pizza priced at $4.48 (all Detroit style was gone!) and it did NOT come off at checkout using the $3 J4U. :)

thanks for the info. i guess it’s truth in labeling, but a silly limitation nonetheless, given that i recall them having the same normal price (clearance price definitely matched).
on top of that, the local store tore down all 4 red clearance tags for the mostly-cleared-out Outsiders, including the Milwaukee Pepperoni that still has one in stock. O_o at a perceived $8.99, they’re *never* gonna clear this thing out.
i see so many self-defeating clearance botches at stores it’s silly: some locations never putting the tag up in the first place, removing it early like now, having the clearance expire even on non-seasonal items, or having the clearance price near or sometimes even a little *higher* than a good sale price (the above $3.88 white castle will probably fall into this category soon).
