Hey guys!!
Question….
I have 3 qp’s for free dole lemonade 2 ltr when you buy Pepsi 2lt in my app. They have been there for about a month I believe. So my question is with the new j4u making the 2ltrs 39 cents each, will I be able to use all 3 qp’s giving me 3 free 2 ltrs or is only one gonna work? I missed this last time cause I never added them to my basket.
Thank you in advance for any help!!💗

I used my three free 2L Dole lemonade digital coupons this morning when purchasing four 2L Mountain Dews. The four 2L Mountain Dews rang up correctly, totaling $1.56 ($0.39 @). The three free 2L Dole lemonade rang up totaling -$3.90. Apparently it’s my lucky day. The other items in my basket were able to eat up thisoverage.

ooh, very nice. i was aware of the issue where BNG1F (or straight-up freebie) e-coupons would deduct the full, regular price of the item. however, the same purchased item being able to grant multiple freebies was new to me! insane deal! what persuaded you to try 3 Doles with only 4 Mountain Dews, as opposed to the proper 12 count that should have been required? have you encountered this flaw before?
anyway, 2 Dole e-coupons clipped here, and it worked great for me on self-checkout: -$1.04 pre-tax combined price. oddly, the first Dole was the 3rd pop to be scanned, and it bafflingly triggered the -$2.29 freebie coupon even though i hadn’t hit the 5-count yet.
wish i’d clipped all 3, but i couldn’t fathom using that many in a few-week span. circumstances quickly made a monkey of me. :P

assassin, I’ve been trying to figure out the logic of the coupons too. This is the way I looked at it … the coupon for the buy 4 Pepsi pdt triggered the .39¢ price. Then, depending on the number of buy 1 Pepsi pdt get 1 free Dole coupons you had, it was a 1 to 1 ratio.
Regarding the receipt, I think the order that you rang up the 2 liters produced different calculations. My theory is …. Since Dole is a Pepsi pdt, if it was scanned in the initial 4, it got different treatment by the registers (changing the price $2.29 – $1.90 = .39¢) than if you scanned it as the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th pdt (which would give you the full -$2.29).
I had 4 free Dole coupons and I got the overage but I’m still trying to figure out the receipt.

Also, regarding clipping coupons on J4U, I’ve been clipping all of them every week. It’s a tip I picked up from Jill from back in the Dominick’s days.

ms40s: thanks for the reply.
much of my confusion, and my blather about buying 12 Pepsis, comes from me misremembering the Dole freebie coupon as a Buy-4-Get-1-Free. probably because the best deals on these 2-liter pops usually involve buying 4.
my receipt was indeed challenging, too. 1 dole got the $0.39 price and the other didn’t, meaning that after their two -$2.29s were deducted, i wound up paying -$3.20 for the duo, as opposed to the -$2.60 that would have tracked Jeri’s transaction. my total cost for the 6 pops worked out, fortunately (at said -$1.04 pre-tax).
while the full $2.29 mfg coupon being deducted for a sale, and possibly store-coupon-reduced, item is buggy, it IS fortunate, in more ways than one. if the freebie coupon properly truncated an item’s final cost to $0, then a Dole scanned in the first 4 would have only 39 cents deducted, while a Dole scanned after that would get the benefit of 99 cents.
as for the coupon clipping:
i lean pretty aggressive on it, but thought there were limits on how many pops and lemonades i could want. so much for that. :P i also lean aggressive on coupon printing; not as much, but still too high, given physical media are being consumed. (oh, the poor trees. oh, the poor squids.)
…you’re saying there were FOUR Dole coupons available for this sale?! i thought there were only 3, before another popped up on early 7/30 (after the sale).

I only have 1 FREE lemonade clipped, but thx for the reminder. I didn’t think I’d ever buy Pepsi 2 liters (husband hates that they go flat in 1 day!) but at that price and with a possible FREE lemonade, I will now!
I also have 69c head lettuce and 59c lb. zucchini in my ad preview. Plus 3/99c cilantro, cucumbers or green onions!

Funny! I was coming here to report I used my 1 Dole freebie and bought 1 mountain dew and 3 pepsi bottles and was credited -$1.30! Husband has 2 clipped in his acct, so will most likely get -$2.60 when he buys his. Sweet deal. I bought a ton of cheap produce along with my pop deal and thought this was MY lucky day as well!

will yellow peaches and nectarines mix and match on the 3-pound e-coupon, or does it have to be one or the other?

“Cantaloupes, Honeydews, Pineapples or Athena Muskmelons are $1.99/lb.”

I mixed my peaches and nectarines and was not an issue. I think cashier just keys in the 1st sticker number she sees? I got 4 peaches and 3 nectarines and it weighed 2.81 lbs. The peaches ripened up faster, and they are all delish and juicy! I saw a lady buying 4 huge peaches this morning and she weighed them and it was a scant under 3 lbs! I told her those were some huge peaches! Plan to get my husbands before sale ends. I’m really loving these deals they are having on J4U lately!
Flaminhotts says
@ calibabydoll……yes the peaches are huge out here too. I also mixed the peaches and nectarines and worked just fine.
I’ve been having a ball with these just 4 u deals aswell! I hope they keep coming. I’m also saving my hubby’s account for monday or Tuesday so I have fresh fruit and ham for the rest of the week.
Happy hunting 💗
