Goodmorning!!
Ok so just got back from jewel and all j4u deal worked great. The hostess deal turned out to be great cause Ibotta has .50 back on coffee cake strudel. So .49 after ibotta. The blueberries at my store are nice and sweet. Got 2 packs and both were perfect. Not a bad blueberry in the bunch lol.
Didnt have the guts to do the diaper deal cause I dont have babys that small anymore but would still love to know if it works cause I’ll purchase and donate to my local community pantry.
Happy hunting guys!!💗💗

I tried the Huggies diaper deal this morning and it didn’t work. I asked Customer Service before I went to the registers and customer they agreed to take them back if the deal didn’t work. Customer Service did not know what items would work.

i am reposting the following from 2 sale weeks ago, because: the deal is still going, it’s still excellent (for our focal item of the 1/4 pie), and the scoundrels CHANGED THE COUPON EXPIRATION DATE FROM 9/29/20 TO TOMORROW 7/31/20:
“on 7/1/20, three justforu e-coupons on sheet cakes, expiring 9/29/20 *, went live:
– $8 Off 1 Sheet Cake , 1/2-sheet. Limit 1.
– $4 Off 1 Sheet Cake , 1/4-sheet. Limit 1.
– $2 Off 1 Sheet Cake or Double Layer Cake , 1/8-sheet. Limit 1.
let’s focus on the 2nd offer. with the exception of a couple 1/8 sheet cakes, priced in the teens, mixed into the coupon’s linkages, it generally requires a purchase of $20.49 (regular website price) or higher. so a 20% discount, or a little better if they go on sale. ah, but let’s study the coupon’s eligible items on the jewel website more closely:
Bakery Cake Marble Decorated Fudge 1/4 Sheet , $25.49
Bakery Cake Yellow Ribbon Butter Cream Iced 1/4 Sheet , $28.49
Bakery Pie Apple Caramel Walnut 1/4 , $2.99
Bakery Cake Yellow Decorated Butter Cream Iced 1/4 Sheet , $25.49
Bakery Cake Chocolate Decorated Fudge Iced 1/4 Sheet , $25.49
Bakery Cake Ribbon/Candy With Fruit 1/4 Sheet 1 Layer , $37.49
… getting colder , and the list goes on …
a giant sea of rather expensive items, except for that one stand-out. :D somebody got a little carried away at the coupon inputting. :P
i’ve bought it; i can attest that the coupon’ll work and truncate at $2.99, and the pie tastes great!
the one i obtained ran moist, so get it into a refrigerator sooner than later.
—-
as for the $2 coupon on 1/8 Sheet Cake or Double Layer Cake, there is one jewel location that’d plaster discount stickers on many of their short-dated 2-layer cakes (like three $2.50 stickers on a $16 cake sometimes!), although this was moreso pre-pandemic. if the practice continues (and your location did it in the first place), you could get an excellent combo deal.”
* as mentioned, that’s now 7/31/20!

Thanks for the heads up!
ms40s says
New sheet cake & double layer cake coupons on J4U with an expiration of 8/15. The 1/4 sheet cake coupon still shows the apple caramel walnut pie as an eligible item for coupon.
assassin says
“Yoplait 4-6oz. yogurt cups are .55. Buy five and use the $1.80-off-5 JustForU ecoupon and drop these to .19 each. Limit 5 cups.”
being a store coupon, this should overlap with the $1-off-10 coupons.com printable, or the manufacturer’s e-coupon expiring 7/31 (it’s a “special pick”, so not everybody will have it). that brings us to $0.27/cup average price when buying 10. so a marked increase from the above, but you’re securing a higher quantity, at slightly below the $0.29/cup typical for these combos.
oh, but there’s more, if you’d clipped a SavingStar offer (expiring tomorrow 7/31!), which was oddly a One-Or-Many. i discussed this at length in last week’s mariano’s thread:
https://jillcataldo.com/coupon-matchups-marianos-deals-of-the-week-7-22-20-7-28-20/#comment-274070
i’ve only done the stacking for other general mills items so far, and at a Receipt Scan store as opposed to the Digital/Card store that Jewel-Osco is. but if it works out, we’re talking $0.17/cup final price for 10 yogurts!
assassin says
okay, for August, the coupons.com/JustForU/savingstar is back to $0.50-off-5. so this combo is now a simple buy 5, pay $0.09/cup! and the small-sized General Mills savingstars are back to their usual, not one-or-many selves, so no stacking those with mfg cpns.
did they ever fix the J4U bug where it’d truncate $N-off-M coupons at a *single* item’s price? i’m sorta thinking they did, but will probably go with the printable over clipping the digital.
ms40s says
Not sure if J4U bug has been fixed. Better off using the printable coupon.
Calibabydolly says
Entered in my number and bought my 5 yogurts, with BOTH coupons clipped (store and new manuf.) and it worked for the 9c each price! They were cleaned out of the flavors I wanted so will go back for husbands in a few days.
assassin says
weird; my manuf. coupon never activated, even though all purchases show up on jewel’s website as linked to it. (they were 2 chocolate whips, 1 strawberry mist whips, 1 orange creme original, and 1 harvest peach original.)
the register beeped with an error when scanning the paper cpn, but an employee overrode it.
i wonder if there’s some register option to disable digital coupons in certain cases where a paper one would beep? and they give locations’ managements autonomy as to how to toggle it? or maybe some locations are running outdated software? frustrating in any case, but thankfully, trusty paper was available here.

“.74 Chex Mix, Bugles, Gardettos
Chex Mix, Bugles or Gardetto’s 7-8.75 oz. are .99 when you buy in multiples of 4. Use two .50-off-2 coupons from the 7/12 SS to drop these to .74 per bag.
.75 General Mills cereals and Nature Valley bars
A variety of General Mills cereals, fruit snacks and bars are $1.25 each when you buy in multiples of four. Limit 8.
Betty Crocker or Mott’s Fruit Snacks 4.5-8 oz., 4.5-8 oz. – $1.25
– .50 off 2 – printable
Honey Nut Cheerios 10.8 oz – $1.25
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Crunch 12 oz. – $1.25
– $1 off 2 – 7/19 SS, printable
…”
as discussed above with the Yoplait yogurt, a curious case of General Mills SavingStars (all expiring tomorrow 7/31/20!) being marked as One-Or-Many should allow for stackability with manufacturer’s coupons that is not normally available. i covered this at length in last week’s mariano’s thread:
https://jillcataldo.com/coupon-matchups-marianos-deals-of-the-week-7-22-20-7-28-20/#comment-274070
for a pair within a quartet, we’re talking final price of $0.25/item for cereals and $0.75/item for fruit snacks.
or on the snack mixes, $0.49/item for one of the pairs.
the cereal and snack mix savingstars are still clippable, while you would have needed to enable the fruit snacks one sometime prior to 7/27.
the Chex Mix, Bugles or Gardetto’s coupons.com is still printable, btw.
if you have a Mariano’s nearby, it’s a better option for fruit snacks, which are $0.99 after a store e-coupon ($1, limit 5). also, no Buy 4 involved on these products (just Buy 2 for the manufacturer coupons and rebates), which gives more flexibility.
assassin says
jewel strawberry or banana Boston cakes, whose listed weights are in the 2 lb. area, are on sale for $5.99 (from $9.99 regular price). no coupon combo here, but a steep sale, and it’s been a good 4-6 *months* since i’ve last seen these things on (advertised) sale.
this’ll give me a chance to redeem leaving a banana boston on the counter for too long before refrigerating circa early June 2019, and having it turn into a mold fest. :'( non-dairy whipped topping =/= immortal cake, it turns out.
