– Heinz MayoMust 16.6oz and MayoCue 16.7oz are on clearance for $2.28. checkout51 has a $1 rebate on Heinz saucy mashups, limit 5.
– one of the SunButters sunflower butters (think natural crunch 16oz; it has blue on the label, and some whole sunflower seeds inside) is on clearance for $3.58. there’s a $1 JustForU expiring 9/23 that’s still clippable.

– the Heinzs’ in-store prices are actually $1.98 (from $3.99 regular). i couldn’t remember, so was going off of the website clearance price.
– yup, indeed the Natural Crunch 16oz (454g).

Speaking of CO51, There is $1/1 can of Bush’s savory beans with a limit of 2 offers and they are on sale at Jewel right now for $1 a can. That would make 2 cans FREE but it gets better. J4U has $1/2 clippable which makes these a MM after the coupon and rebate. My husband and I each got 2 cans last week for free with this deal but it has reset again this morning. I had 4 and my husband had 3 coupons clipped in our apps and today it took off 2 coupons! (why last week it only took off the 1?) So I paid 2 cents tax for both cans and got back $2 on Checkout 51 today!
*I bought 1 Southwest pinto beans and 1 Southwest white beans today and my husband got 2 cans of Southwest pinto beans and the J4U did not care what type if that matters. We like the pinto beans that have jalapeno in them in chili but were not too crazy about the black beans with corn. The corn seemed rather leathery when we tried them before?

nice find! know the sale end date? it doesn’t seem to be advertised.
the stacking is actually impermissible, though:
– the Just4U says “Not valid with any other offer”.
– while the CO51 lacks that restriction in its main text, the fine print does have the “Please check the offer details closely …” note that usually accompanies that restriction.
Calibabydolly says
I take the fine print on the J4U meaning “not valid with any other offer in store”. I will check the sale dates on the Bush beans tomorrow if I remember. (There is a new Facebook freebie!) I checked the restrictions on the CO51 offer and it does NOT say cannot use a coupon on this one. I compare this deal with ibotta offers where you use a coupon and then claim the item, since it does not forbid it in the fine print on the offer. If the $1 price is still valid next Thursday and the offer on CO51 resets, I will do it again since we both have J4U coupons clipped and they expire 9-30! (even without using a coupon 2 cans are FREE after offer and I see they are on sale at Kroger for $1 a can right now as well) Happy to have more for chili since my garden is overflowing in tomatoes right now!

“I take the fine print on the J4U meaning ‘not valid with any other offer in store’.”
nope, it means that you’re not only limited from combining it with other manufacturer _coupons_, but ANY type of manufacturer _offers_ (such as rebates) as well.
manufacturers rarely put restrictions on combining with actual store offers, because those aren’t coming out of their pocket.
“(There is a new Facebook freebie!) I checked the restrictions on the CO51 offer and it does NOT say cannot use a coupon on this one.”
but like i said, that restriction 99% of the time goes hand-in-hand with the “Please check the offer details closely …” note in the fine print. so when they have the latter, it’s a good sign that they meant to include the former, but forgot, or maybe the main list somehow ran out of space.
i encountered this ambiguity with Nutella a few months back: i’d bought 2, used a mfg coupon on 1, and then tried to use a claim on each. but CO51 rejected one. i was gonna contest it on grounds of no restriction in the main print, but after seeing this “Please check the offer details closely …” lower down, i didn’t bother.
anyway, i admit this part is ambiguous, so it’s really the Bush’s coupon text that’s disqualifying you here. :P

sale is thru Tue Oct 01 at local store. multiple reload chances!
Calibabydolly says
Plus I see in the new weeks ad, if you buy 8 items, the Bush’s savory is included in the 88c price! I wonder how the J4U $1/2 coupon will play out since the price is below $1? Hopefully we will get to find out.

there’s a high value JustForU: “Save $5.00 when you buy ONE (1) Planters 33-34oz Mixed Nuts and Cashews”, expiring 11/5/19. this ran around the same time last year, and proved a tremendous value when combined with a sale. and indeed, there’s another great chance right now, with these $18.99 regularly-priced items on sale for $14.99. (no peanuts are in the Deluxe mixed nuts, btw.)
some wrinkles, though: there are also 26-27oz mixed nuts and cashews; from what I can tell, identical in all but sizes and UPC codes. the issues:
– neither the coupon text nor the linkages on the JustForU website indicate it working with these smaller products.
– this size is a worse value regardless, being regular price $17.99 and on sale (thru end of 2019) for $15.99.
– the smaller, undesirable size is the more popular one at most stores. one location had no shelf slots in the normal aisle for the larger product, nor could i find them elsewhere. another location has the larger ones on a cardboard end stand in another aisle. the main aisle had shelf slots for neither (or one tops) of the big jars.
– the 33-34oz nuts are on sale through Feb 4, 2020, which is almost suspicious in its generosity. is this a form of clearance that means the nuts might be gone well before 11/5? or are they burning off temporarily excess stock, and the sale will be rescinded once they do?
the 26-27oz and 33-34oz nuts also coexisted in some stores months ago (like last Fall when i bought mine, or maybe early this year), and the Jun 2020 expiration dates i’m seeing on some of the large ones suggests they were produced pretty recently as opposed to sitting unsold on a shelf for months.
so a size downgrade isn’t necessarily imminent, but the two jar weights and the limited, endstand availability of the coupon-eligible, 33-34oz versions have me antsy. thus, i’d buy these sooner than later.
i can attest from eating the mixed nuts this late Spring into Summer that they’re quite good, and endure past the listed date.
assassin says
“(no peanuts are in the Deluxe mixed nuts, btw.)”
but there is peanut OIL (and in the salted Cashews, as well). i was talking value, not allergens! (and can you really put a price on anaphylactic shock?)
