Here's an incredible deal spotted by reader John W: 1lb. Open Nature grass-fed 85% lean ground beef is $1.99! This is the same beef that was previously .99/lb. in a JFU offer a couple weeks ago, but now there are no limits. This is regularly $7.99/lb. -- what a steal!

Note that this is an unadvertised special, but I have since received reports from readers finding it at 8 other Jewel locations. If it is not marked, scan it at the price-checker to verify, as reader Kevin found it listed at $7.99 but ringing up at $1.99.

After coming up empty at my "home store," I found this on 9/20 at the Summit Ave. Jewel location in Elgin, and they had a bunch in stock and included both regular and halal varieties. See photo I took in store!

The packages I purchased on 9/20 also expire on 9/20 and 9/21, so that's likely why it is such a bargain -- fill up those freezers :)

Checkout 51 also has $1/2 Welch’s fruit snacks and Jewel has a digital coupon for this as well.

Ibotta has .75 off Keebler Town House Pita Crackers, which are included in the 3/$5 sale. Limit is 5, so I bought 3 which made them about .91/box.

  John, an update- I was able to find this today at a different Jewel than my local one (Summit Ave. in Elgin has a -ton- and still does, as I do not have enough freezer space currently available to alleviate them of more of their overstock :) All are dated with today’s date 9/20 or tomorrow’s 9/21, so they are likely clearing this out as quickly as they can. The Crazy 8 sale is for 8 or more, so you could get 9,10, 11, anything over 8. Also the chicken breast’s were looking a bit freezer burned. They said the next shipment should be fresher.
