Maruchan and Yakisoba bowls are advertised 3/$2.
The 11/5 SS has separate Maruchan bowl $1.00/3 coupons, and Yakisoba $1.00/3 coupons.
.33 each.

the Butterball bacon and sausage coupons have the following sentence (as does a MyMixx for the sausage):
“No cash or credit in excess of shelf price may be returned to consumer.”
i get what such wording means in the context of _store_ coupon policy: Jewel will let coupon overages apply to other items in the transaction, but they won’t hand you cash for them.
but seeing as the manufacturer isn’t in a position to hand cash to customers in the first place (as they’re not shopping at some Butterball Warehouse), does the wording mean something different here? that is, are they banning coupon overages entirely? if so, and if “shelf price” includes the B1G1F store sale, that could be a problem for using a 2nd coupon. but maybe i worry too much… :/
how do you interpret this coupon fine print?

That wording is indeed banning overage on those coupons. It’s a bit tough to enforce as if the store’s registers are set up to allow it, the responsibility really falls on the cashier to catch it and not give overage — that is, if there is actually a situation where you’re buying Butterball and also getting it free with overage.
