Correct me if I’m wrong…
In your blurb about connecting MyMixx to Savingstar. Jewel is not longer connected that way. You have to scan your receipt and send it, instead. It ended that way last month.

That’s correct – that gets carried over each week as it is part of the Jewel deals template in my blog. I’ll fix.

We did not get the wrap around in the ads on that Wed. (Don’t get our ads that way down here in Kankakee!) so I loaded the $1/1 O Organics salad coupon to my MyMixx that I found on both my and husbands phones so we could get the same deal (66c) when you buy 3. Watch the registers, it will not take off the extra dollar for the loaded coupon! I hate having to beg for them to take off the proper amount on MyMixx. 2 seasoned cashiers plus the CS lady acted like it was working but clearly charging $3 for the 3 salads is like not even using a coupon. I know they think I am wrong and just being a “difficult” customer every time this happens. Why can’t Jewel fix MyMixx? Anyway, already used up 3 boxes of nice spinach! :>)
Also, on the huge bags of potatoes on sale for $2, watch for rotten ones. I searched through several bags of HEAVY 20 pound bags but all seemed rather damp and smelly. I just went through it now and found 3 rotten and many more with spots starting to go bad. They are still a great deal even with the wasted ones tossed out. I just wanted to warn you not to store the bags without checking yours. I think they do ruin them all if you do not pull out the bad ones! They were pretty dirty overall but there were lots of nice sized bakers mixed in with smaller ones. Great price!

I too, had the O Organics My Mix coupon disregarded in the buy 1 get 2 free sale, It took off $3 for one and $2 for the second. I didn’t notice until I got home but will bring back my receipt. I did notice that the potatoes were rotting, they may be the ‘last of the harvest’ from last year. Some stores advertise new crop potatoes, clearly these are not.

Anyone know how to get the free toothpaste. Maybe I missed it.

It’s right in the Deals of the Week writeup under the P&G instant savings sale. Tubes of Crest are $1.99 each when you buy three. Use the $2 MyMixx ecoupon for one and two $2 Crest coupons from the 9/17 SS = three free tubes :)

Thanks for the heads up on the potatoes Calibabydolly. I never would have thought to check them all.
I dumped the whole bag out on the picnic table in the sun. Sure enough there was one rotten one in the bag.
And several of them were wet from the moisture in the bag, which all the bags in the store looked like they had
moisture. Ended up holding the bag in front of a fan to dry it out & left the potatoes out in the sun until they dried
out.

Tried using the salad myMixx coupon, first one rang up for $2 and after the next two my total was $3. Cashier would not adjust.
Canceled order. Tried 3 salads without MyMixx, rang up $3. Cashier scanned the paper coupon and it would not take the $1 off.
certainly not assassin says
a theory on the salad: the B1G2F sale is applying a “free items start with ones of lowest purchase price” restriction, AND it’s basing this decision on the post-coupon price.
maybe this ordering happens because a store coupon and a store sale are on the same “level”; iow, an apples-to-apples comparison, which wouldn’t take place with a *manufacturer’s* coupon (as that would kick in post-sale).
another theory: they are all dolts.
