1) mariano’s is participating in the Classico pasta sauce catalina, per a 12/22/19 alert.
2) la banderita soft taco flour tortillas, 10 count, 16oz, are/were on clearance or steep sale for $1.00 locally. curiously, they’re also the only product of this brand participating in the B5S$5. my local store is out (despite not mentioning B5S$5 on the shelf tag; maybe some customers pieced it together?), but maybe yours will have some left.
3) carnation instant breakfast light start rich milk chocolate, 8 envelopes, 5.64oz, is on close-out for $1.37 locally. and like the rest of the brand, they’re participating in the B5S$5. all of this is clearly spelled out on the shelf tag, yet there were plenty left (9, or at least 8) when i showed up. PLUS, mariano’s is part of the catalina outlined here:
https://jillcataldo.com/current-national-catalina-offers-january-2020/
so you’ll make money on these things. BETTER YET, the catalina machine was spitting out item coupons ($1.50-off-3 when i bought 2, then $1.50-off-4 when i bought 4)! legalized looting, baby!!
4) smart ones are not on sale individually, but they are participating in the B5S$5, taking them down to a paltry $1. plus, there’s a coupons.com printable for $2-off-5. (it was first present in december 2019, and reloaded in january 2020, so you could have printed 4 per device so far, and the sale’s gone on nearly 2 weeks.)

5) barilla dry pastas, as well as 5.6-6oz pesto sauces, are participating in the B5S$5.
prices before that discount:
– proteinplus, gluten free, red lentil, chickpea = $2.39 sale (from $2.49)
– collezione = $2.39 regular
– pestos = $2.49 sale (from $2.79)
there was an older e-coupon that gave $0.75 off proteinplus and gluten free (or was it dry collezione?), but also included red lentil and chickpea in the website listing.
as for newer options:
1. SavingStar “SAVE $1.00 on any ONE (1) Barilla® Protein+™ or Chickpea or Red Lentil or Gluten Free Pasta Product (8.8-14.5 oz)”.
2. mariano’s $1 e-coupon, i’m 99% sure for the same product range as the SavingStar.
3. retailmenot.com $1 printable, if you were lucky enough to grab it in the brief time it was available (i was not). again, i believe for the same product range as the SavingStar.
no coupons/etc. on the pestos, unfortunately.
as for collezione, i only see a $2 e-coupon for tortellini, which are not in the B5S$5. i could swear there was a lower-value one on the dry, cheaper version too, but maybe it expired.

6) as for good deals on barilla’s non-dry pastas:
ready pasta 8.5oz is on sale for $1. there’s an e-coupon (no longer clippable) for $1-off-2.

okay, my used e-coupons finally posted, and it was “Save $0.75 on Barilla® Collezione or Protein+ when you buy ONE (1) Barilla Collezione or Protein+, any variety (12-16 oz). Excludes Collezione Tortellini Products. Exp 01/15/2020.” but it also included red lentil, chickpea, and gluten free in the website listing. and it indeed activated on a red lentil. pointless mystery solved.
