some stores have Lavazza 12oz bagged ground coffee on sale for $3.99 through 1/7/2019 (or clearance, given normal price is $8.59?). combine with a $2 Checkout51, -OR- if that gets used up or is otherwise unavailable, a $2 SavingStar. do NOT clip the SavingStar as long as the CO51 is available, as the latter can reload weekly, while the first is essentially one-shot. (CO51 is STILL punishing me for using a SS in late *2017*, so my only option now is using a single SavingStar that finally came back MONTHS later.)
[a repeat post because i pointlessly posted this to last week’s sale matchups at first.]

“50% off Halloween 3 days only
Load an ecoupon at Marianos’ site for an extra 50% off Halloween candy or merchandise.”
is this limited to a single item? they don’t seem to specify anywhere, whether it be giving the usual “on ONE (1)” qualifier, nor the “Use up to 5 times in a single transaction” seen in cases like the Kettle chips.
also, because of its wide range of applicable products, might that mean it’s a store coupon and thus stackable with manufacturers’?

1) okay, from various Kroger (and affiliated stores, of which Mariano’s qualifies) shoppers, it’s supposedly good for multiple items per transaction, and for multiple transactions:
https://www.krogerkrazy.com/2018/10/50-off-halloween-candy-and-halloween-home-merchandise-at-kroger-oct-19-21-only/
https://slickdeals.net/f/12138559-50-off-halloween-candy-and-more-at-kroger-friday-sunday?page=7
2) still no clue on this. but multiple shoppers have used paper coupons (including the $1.50-off-4 Nestle Catalina that gets generated) on top of this digital coupon. whether they’ve done so legitimately, and whether we’d be able to duplicate it here, i cannot say. would be interesting to see a receipt from the 50% deal: does it show “MC” or “SC” or some such to clarify?

regardless of #2’s answer, the Nestle OYNO Catalina currently running combines great with this! on $3 sale-priced bags, purchasing 3 will be $0.83 each final price!

my other follow-up comment has been awaiting moderation for 30 hours (boo!), but here’s further info, for anybody who might go with 4 hours and 52 minutes left in the offer:
1) contrary to other Kroger-affiliated stores having this as a repeated transaction digital coupon, some signage in store (nowhere to be seen on website or paper ad!) indicates it’s up to 5x in a single transaction. and store personnel stated that the offer is gone after the 1 transaction, even if you only bought 3 items, for instance. so max out the 5 at once!
2) the 50% discount itemizes as a *store* coupon, and store employees had no qualms with combining paper manufacturers’ coupons! also relevant to this SC versus MC distinction is the superb Milka Oreo fun size bars (10.2oz bag) rebate on Checkout51: $1.50 off, limit 5. the Milkas are on sale for $3.50 (from $3.99), and the 50% digital store coupon knocks them down to $1.75. pay 25 cents final price! (i’ve yet to redeem the rebate, but will very soon.)
if you’re unable to get in there today in time for the Milka, or if you don’t live close to a Mariano’s, Target at $2.66 sale price ($3.19 regular) is a solid runner-up.

Milka CO51 rebate successfully redeemed!
the Nestle OYNO Catalina didn’t generate this time, so i’ll have to submit a receipt via their website. my guess is that’s related to an unconventional transaction. even though Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups were pictured as part of the 50% offer, they weren’t deducting (they’re kept in the normal candy aisle as opposed to Halloween section), so the cashier had to void them then price modify them to $1.50; maybe this interfered with things?
