“* $3 Breyers ice cream, Talenti gelato, Magnum bars
48oz. Breyers ice cream, 16oz. Talenti gelato, 3ct. Magnum bars are 2-for-$7. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 Mariano’s 5X ecoupon to drop these to $3 each. ”
so this is $0.50 worse than the first week of the sale. mariano’s does this a lot. two other things, specific to Talenti:
1) my post from last week:
“re #2: a discrepancy on the Talenti 5x e-cpn that could prove helpful:
the coupon title and description both say $1 off 2.
however, if you look at a list of Talentis on the website, e.g. from searching for ‘talenti’, or by browsing through items from https://www.marianos.com/f/5xevent ,
the blue, clickable text under the item next to ‘Clip Coupon:’ or ‘Coupon Clipped:’ simply reads ‘Save $1.00’ — unlike Breyers and Magnum, there’s no mention of buying 2!
IF this field is more binding/relevant than the coupon description (i can’t say for sure that EITHER is), we’re talking $2.00 each before manufacturer’s coupon, or $0.75 after! the one downside is that this means you’ll only be able to buy 5 store-coupon-discounted pints as opposed to 10.”
i should state that this is the case with the 5x e-coupons for both normal Talenti AND Talenti Layers.
also, i can verify from a night 10/27 purchase of 2 Layers that the $1 e-coupon indeed activates TWICE! so i paid $0.75/each for two.
plus, i can verify that the 5x e-coupon is indeed Store.
—-
2) on night 10/27 visit, Mariano’s has a Catalina alert on the Talenti: Buy 2 or more, and get $2, running 11/2 – 11/29.
—-
combine the $0.50 inferior sale with the new Catalina, and buying two will put you $0.50 *ahead* this coming week. a pint will come out to $0.25 effective final cost!
that is, assuming you actually printed the long-running coupons.com manufacturer’s coupons for $1.25-off-1 or $2.50-off-2, which finally dried up (or hit some end date distinct from their 11/22/20 expiration?) on 10/27.
it also assumes that the 5x e-coupons continue to betray their description and work as a $1-off-1, as quoted in detail above. (search “talenti” on the mariano’s website to verify this before making your trip/purchase.)
and because there are SEPARATE e-coupons for normal Talenti and Talenti Layers, you ought to be able to achieve the $0.25 final cost over *4* total pints. (split the pairs into separate transactions, of course!)

“$2.50 Jack’s pizza
Jack’s frozen pizzas 12-16oz. are $2.50”
my ad shows Jack’s “original pizza” 13.8 – 16.6oz as $2.00 even (on the front page).
——–
Noosa 8oz yogurt is B1G1F (@ $1.99). been ages since i’ve seen this sale! i thought inflation had rendered it a thing of the past.
——–
all B1G1F (of equal or lesser value) are:
Screamin’ Sicilian pizza, 20.6 – 25oz. regular price $8.79. i saw big $1 coupons stuck to a number of these at the local Jewel, which could come in handy if your store is similarly gifted.
Urban Pie pizza, 14 – 20.45oz. regular price $8.99.
TGI Fridays appetizers, 11.5 – 17.1oz. regular price apparently $6.49.
because these 3 are listed together in the ad, does that make the sale mix-and-match?
——–
Edy’s, Kemps, and Turkey Hill ice creams, 48 fl oz, are B1G1F. regular prices are $5.49, $4.99, and $4.99, respectively. (or $5.89 for Kemps’ Simply Crafted and $5.79 for Turkey Hill All Natural, IF they’re in the sale.)
assassin says
ok, Turkey Hill All Natural @ $5.79 is in the sale (as is Trio’Politan at $4.99), but Kemps Simply Crafted is not, instead on individual sale for $4.
assassin says
Red Baron Classic Crust (20.6 – 22.95oz) and Brick Oven Crust (17.82 – 17.89oz) pizzas are on sale for $2.50. funny how it beats many front page deals, and lacks their quantity limitations, yet doesn’t even make it into the ad this week. :P
—–
Chobani coffee creamer 24 fl oz is B1G1F @ $3.99 . use the $1 mfg e-cpn, and buy 2 for an average price of $1.50. and unlike the recent B5+S$1e creamer opportunity, they’ve finally linked the new/seasonal Peppermint Mocha flavor to the sale and coupon, so it’s actually an option now.
—–
Silk Mix-Ins almondmilk yogurt alternative 5.3oz (150g) is on sale for $1.49 , and has a $0.75 mfg e-cpn.
—–
So Delicious Pairings coconutmilk yogurt alternative 5.3oz (150g) is on sale for $1.49 , and has a $1.00 mfg e-cpn.
—–
i’m amazed the above 3 e-coupons are still clippable, really.
—–
Arm & Hammer laundry detergent is B1G1F @ $5.49, and there’s a manufacturer e-coupon and coupons.com printable for $1.
assassin says
“* .80 Chobani or Dannon yogurt
5.3oz. Chobani or Dannon Greek yogurt cups are $1 each. Buy ten and use the $2-off-10 Mariano’s 5X ecoupon to drop these to .80 per cup.”
for the Chobani (which covers Chobani traditional/core and Less Sugar [including 4.5oz Less Sugar crunch], but not Flip or Complete), a $1-off-5 Checkout51 (limit 5 rebates) for single-serves recently appeared. if the e-coupon is indeed Store, buy 10 and stack the offers to pay $0.60/cup final.
—–
“* $1.29 Quaker Chewy bars
5-8ct. Quaker Chewy bars are $2.29. Use the $1 Mariano’s 5X ecoupon and pay $1.29.”
the $1.50-off-2 (limit 1 rebate) Checkout51 reloaded this week, so pay $0.54/box final when buying 2.
—–
Ronzoni Smart Taste and Garden Delight pastas, both 12oz, are on sale for $0.99, and each has a Mariano’s 5x e-coupon. note that the two types are both included in each other’s e-coupon linkages, along with Healthy Harvest Ancient Grains (also $0.99 sale). this might confuse things if you buy both in a single transaction, so i’d tend to separate the two categories for sanity.
John W. says
Note that the Roundy’s cheese 4/$6 is must buy in multiples of 4, or it’s $2.29 each.
Better Oats hot cereal is as low as $1.64 and there’s a $1 off (x5) ecoupon
Peet’s coffee some varieties appear to be $4.99 (and there’s a $1 off ecoupon).
–these could be clearance items, price and stock may vary.
A few unadvertised deals that show up at my Skokie store:
Old Orchard healthy balance 64 oz. juices $1.25
Roundy’s cottage cheese 16 oz. $1.25
Kroger 52 oz. orange juice $2.25
Calibabydolly says
Check Old Orchard website for $1/2 printable coupon. Not sure if they take internet coupons, if not, my Dollar Tree has regularly been stocking the Healthy Balance type, makes them actually only 50c each after this deal!

“$1.49 Kroger dinner sausage
16-18oz. Kroger Italian sausages or bratwurst are $3.49. Use the $2 Mariano’s 1X ecoupon and pay $1.49. ”
newly appearing is a(n) (store) e-coupon for Johnsonville Sausage 16-19oz at $1.49. and it’s abbreviated, also expiring at the end of the sale week. makes me wonder whether the Kroger item is having supply issues, and this is a fallback.
John W. says
Crunchmaster $1.25 ecoupon is now available, and the original Crunchmaster 4 oz. crackers are ringing up at $1.99, so that’s a great deal. (I found one bag in the deli; other varieties are $3.
The So Delicious Pairings that are 49 cents after ecoupon also have a $1.15 ibotta deal.
