The 8/19 SS has $2/2 Planters 16oz peanuts coupon. Can that be combined with the card deal to get them free?
Coupon Maven says
Indeed, that would be a great matchup! I am honestly not sure if the 5X ecoupons are manufacturer coupons or store coupons:
https://www.marianos.com/topic/coupon-policy
Limit one (1) manufacturer coupon (paper or digital) per item purchased.
I’ve never tried to combine them yet because I’m still new to Mariano’s (we just got one in our area this year.)
Ms40S says
If you look at the wording under the “Load to Card” button, it does say “Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.”
Coupon Maven says
Thank you! I knew I had seen it somewhere.

The Lays potato chips price of $1.99 is WYB 3.

The Roundy’s cheese in my ad says $1.99?
Coupon Maven says
Crystal Lake’s ad definitely has it for .98 — we went to that store on Thursday and bought a bunch.
Someone posted a week or two that their Mariano’s will price match other Mariano’s if you ask and know which store’s ad you’re matching. I am not sure if that is true for all Mariano’s.

“- $2 off 3 Mars – 9/16 RM
– $1 off 2 Mars – 8/26 RM
– $1 off 2 Hershey’s – 9/23 SS”
don’t forget $2 off 3 Nestle Fun Size – 9/16 SS (per CouponTom), as well as the excellent Catalina running (which i verified to work at Mariano’s)! an alternative coupon to the SS is the $1.50-off-4 (or maybe off 3) Nestles catalina that spat out mid-transaction for me; dunno how common it is.

unadvertised, many Nature Valley products are on sale for $2 thru 10/10: bars (crunchy, sweet & salty nut, fruit and nut), biscuits and biscuit sandwiches, soft-baked oatmeal or filled squares. Mariano’s lacks the hefty $5-off-4 MyMixx (and its attendant glitches and aggravation when trying to use alongside other e-coupons), but with a shelf price 50 cents under Jewel’s, the final result rivals them. there are various $0.50-off-1 and $1-off-2 offers on coupons.com and savingstar; then there’s the excellent catalina. buying 5 will have your final cost be $0.90/each! (i haven’t tried the catalina at mariano’s, but with Kroger already being in the list, it’s a pretty safe bet.)
Coupon Maven says
Do you have the $2-off-3? My Tribunes did not get it that week. Thanks for posting the Catalina too — I updated the deals to note this.
assassin says
re nestle:
no, but i don’t get the full Tribune, but rather some flyer pack with often-abbreviated SmartSources and RedPlums.

to correct myself a little on nature valley: because the $0.50-off-1 are for non-sale items, you’ll need to buy in pairs for coupons — so final price of $1.00 each, if you buy 4-6 items.
Coupon Maven says
Got it. That’s a GREAT coupon to pair with this deal!
assassin says
wonder if it’s regional or something?

Kozy Shack pudding (22oz tubs, 6-pack 4oz cups, or 4-pack 4oz cups for Simply Well no sugar added variety) is $2.50. there are $1-off-2 Checkout51s running on each size, limit 3 (of each rebate type) per week. note that the 4-pack rebate mentions only “rice pudding”, so it’s possible tapioca and chocolate are oddly excluded from that.
not as insane of a deal as in early august where jewel had a $2 sale and the CO51 was $0.75-off-1, but still very good. and mariano’s has some varieties i didn’t see at local jewels, like Cinnamon Raisin rice pudding, or the Simply Wells.
