Ragu pasta sauce (16 – 24.6oz) is on sale B1G1F @ $2.39 . there’s a $0.75 checkout51 rebate on any variety of the brand, limit 5 (also a savingstar, but avoid that like the plague). if my understanding is correct and you can use the rebate on a free store-granted item, then buying 4 (or 2) will bring you to an average of $0.45 per jar! if i’m wrong and it’s just 1 offer per pair, then it’s still a very nice $0.82 /jar.
hopefully, the CO51 reloads at the top of their new week in several hours. if not, i’ll indicate so with a weepy follow-up post. :P

How do I get on your email list where you send out the weekly deals via email?
Thanks
Coupon Maven says
Kelly, at the bottom of this page, there’s a signup form. It sends out one emall each day at 1:00CST if there have been new posts. If it is a day when I do not post, you won’t receive an email. :)

I couldn’t find the comment section for last week’s Mariano deals. Did you find out anything about their internet printed coupon policy and if it has changed? I know even some managers after having meetings about this are still confused about any changes. It was apparent they had passed on new info to the cashiers because that person stopped and sought out manager’s advice when I was told I couldn’t use the internet coupons I had.

re Oreos:
the e-coupon gives 6oz as the bottom of the size range, and the eligible products list accordingly also includes Oreos Thin _Bites_, at $3.39 regular price.
it’s tragic that the excellent $1-off-2 CO51 offer (limit 5, iirc) was discontinued this Thursday morning.
does anybody know how the math/mechanics on these e-coupons works? the ad says “2.99 with card – 1.50 e-clips coupon offer = 1.49 with card & digital coupon”. now, does it always subtract BY $1.50, or always lower TO $1.49? i ask because the local store has 3 items on clearance for $2.09:
a. Oreos thins mint, 10.1oz
b. Oreos thins pistachio, 10.1oz
c. conventional Oreos reduced fat, 14.3oz
if the e-cpn works by fixed subtraction, you might walk out of there paying $0.59 (BEFORE the paper coupon is even involved)! however, in order for it to also get the $3.39 Thins Bites to $1.49, it probably works by fixed PRICE TARGET. wish i knew. what’d be *really* sweet is if it chose the most advantageous of the two methods…

re Chobani flips:
as i posted last week, these are included in neither the $1 individual sale nor the $0.88 bulk discount.

there are 4 types of dry pasta with $0.50 e-coupons in the 5X event expiring 2/18. unfortunately, the website indicates that the mapping to items are screwed up.
What it says ==> What it applies to
———————————————–
Creamette (10+ oz.) ==> 2 Ronzoni garden delight, 2 ronzoni smart taste, 1 ronzoni healthy harvest. ($0.99)
Ronzoni garden delight (12oz) ==> 2 Ronzoni garden delight, 2 ronzoni smart taste, 1 ronzoni healthy harvest. ($0.99)
Prince (12+ oz.) ==> 13 Prince products. ($0.99)
Ronzoni smart taste (12oz) ==> 13 Prince products. ($0.99)
i’m not sure if the registers map the same way. nor do i know what, if anything, will change by the time any of us visit the store.
so i’m inclined to say that if you want to take advantage of ANY of these offers, clip ALL 4 to be safe!
and if you want a deal on creamette, guess you’re SOL for now.
