2 notable oddities/flubs from last week’s ad:
“* $1.97 Kroger ice cream
48oz. Kroger ice cream is $2.77. Use the .80 Mariano’s 5x ecoupon and pay $1.97.
* $2.27 Angel food cake or bars
8-13oz. Angel food cake or bars are $2.99. Use the .72 Mariano’s 5X ecoupon and pay $2.27.”
as far as i can tell, the 1st coupon never showed up, despite the ad mentioning it! granted, i probably didn’t look for it until ~1 day into the sale, but store e-coupons usually don’t disappear.
as for the 2nd coupon, it was actually for $2.47 (so a direct copy-and-paste from parent Kroger?), and rang up that way. fortunately, i was able to point to the giant picture on the sign in the front of the store, and get my hefty 20 cents back from the service desk right after the transaction. :D
perhaps as compensation for the 1st flub, there’s an even BETTER value e-coupon for ice cream sandwiches this week:
“$2.97 Kroger Ice Cream Sandwiches
When you buy ONE (1) Kroger Ice Cream Sandwiches (12-16 ct). Download and redeem the coupon once from February 23-March 1 only. Use up to 5 times in a single transaction, while supplies last.
Weekly Digital Deals”
locally, there’s 1 linked item:
Kroger Vanilla Snowboard Sandwiches, 24 ct / 3.5 fl oz = $4.47 (discounted from $5.89)
i think the “12-16 ct” in the e-coupon is a typo, as the in-store sign indicates 24-count. an excellent deal!

^ besides the coupon linkage and the text of the freestanding store sign, the $4.47 => $2.97 shelf tag is in the 24-count item’s slot.

“$2.97 Jennie-O ground turkey
18oz. Jennie-O fresh lean ground turkey is $3.49. Use the .52 Mariano’s 5X ecoupon and pay $2.97”
16oz, and 93% Lean is specified.
however, note that the local store had the 99% Lean, a considerably more expensive product, linked to the e-coupon first, and this continued after the 93% was linked.
i was able to buy 3 of the 99%s at $2.97 on my Friday, 2/25/22 visit.
